It actually looks surprisingly good to me. I'm kind of tempted. If there was actually an Animated Slipstream figure I'd want to pick this up as an homage.

What new pic? This is the latest one they've Tweeted. Unless you're referring to one from another source, that isn't what we're talking about.

I wouldn't necessarily say that wouldn't get it at all or that this is the official release. It just means that Hasbro has no current plans for the character. There are lots of characters that funpub put out as club or BotCon exclusives that Hasbro years down the line decided to do officially.

There were a lot of people who thought the same thing back in 2007 when Funpub put Thundercracker, Dirge and Ramjet in the Games of Deception set.

I think the mold works great for a classics Slipstream. Feminine to the max. And in many Asian countries, alot of girls have a B cup or smaller so the chest looks fine. The original slipstream (animated) had a cockpit on her mid-section like all seekers, not breasts. This will be my first TF Prime mold and works great for classics.

I agree. It's feminine enough (to me) that putting along side the other, Blockier Deluxe Seekers works.

And maybe I'm the only one but wouldn't an original G2 Ramjet work as a G1 Slipstream? Provided that she ever makes an appearance in G1 storylines/canon. He has teal and purple coloring, so no repainting would be necessary. Except maybe for some robo-lipstick :P

The legs are great for a fembot but non the less the upper body looks like it has to much of an igorish posture.

The arms are flat and shoulders to high. The head looks slouchey too

I wonder how the voyager mold would have worked

Honestly, there's a great deal of similarity between WFC Slipstream (where the asthetics were more in line with Classics than TF: Prime) and this figure. It could probably fit in either line pretty well

Yay! All the better for her ancient era and modern era designs to resemble each other, being the same person and all. :D

Careful with statements like that, because then this must be the same character as this, this be the same as this, or (and this is my personal favourite), this is this.

Now before you go all "know-it-all" on me, please be aware that I'm being pedantic for the fun of it. Yes I know that, aside from Arcee (who certainly didn't match TF: Prime's Arcee in any of the show's flashbacks), they're pretty much the same characterization and artistic direction varied wildly between High Moon's games and TF: Prime.

I'm only pointing out that TFSS Slipstream's scheme matched the proposed WFC's character, and that the WFC art style meshed more with Classics than Prime. But then again Slipstream is obviously a Prime mold, and thus could very easily fit in with the TF: Prime line too.

I'm all for saying we're both right. She may be, as you put it "meant for Prime" but I believe she'll work pretty well in Classics too.
