The first one is, and they even draw from it in later episodes.
witch is a problem, with all the plot holes it creates.
Seriously, the list is pretty hefty, considering that they made it canon.

Right when the frieza saga ends, Garlic Jr. returns, and they fight him on Kami's lookout. In those episodes, they draw to the movie "Deadzone" in flashback form. I was talking about deadzone all this time, probably should have been more clear on that huh? 8-}

I'm watching Samurai Champloo. I forgot how good this show was. Also a new Dragon Ball Z movie is coming out. It's going to take place after the Buu saga. And they already have a release date for it which is March 30th 2013 for Japan.

Haven't been following anything else apart from Naruto Shippuuden.
Been away for a while, and am now mostly reading Dan Simmons.

I'll get back to Anime once I've finished The Fall of Hyperion.

Well, it's the news itself that got me all stoked. And that trailer is like super old. And plus there hasn't been a plot released yet either. Except that it's after Buu

Dude, Hyperion is an AWESOME series! Well, not Dune awesome...but still incredible! Just wait til you get to Endymion and Rise of Endymion. Much insanity and much explained!

I'm thinking of building a life sized Shrike out of scrap metal!

My girlfriend and I are just a few episodes from being current in Shippuden. We've spent the good part of a year catching up. Great stuff!

I mostly read Manga now as anime became too time consuming, but one interesting one I picked up was JoJo's Bizarre Adventure. It's got a pretty awesome art-style (IMO) and the story is definitely weird, but at the same time very awesome.

Only anime I watched in recent times were the Madoka Magica one (could've been better but not bad) and The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya (only watched it cuz of the hype(terrible reason) and I find it pretty awful so far).

As for JoJo though, would definitely recommend it though it IS pretty long.
As I've caught up on that for now, gonna be picking up One Piece again soon. Read his one-shot Monsters earlier today which was fun.

They just go by much quicker for me.
Although I just remembered JoJo is getting an Anime in October which is pretty awesome for me. Hopefully should garner some new fans as it's a semi-obscure series.

That's the old OVA, which is only of Part 3. In October it's getting a full on Anime from part 1 presumably all the way through.

It's short but, eh better than nothing. the OVA had good fights but the voices were awful in the dub.

I cant believe Im almost done with DBZ. Episode 270 already. Add Dragonball onto that and so far i've watched a total of 423 episodes. I think I may need professional help.
