That's great. Imagine if it worked though. Alot of people would be getting heart attacks right now

The upside is that if two people write the same name in quick succession, both writings are negated. Hence why I'm not dead right now, you people need to wait a bit.

Gara creeps me the f*ck out, just like he used to.

Anybody here into Saint Seiya? Its a very popular series
Image
The story is about the Saints of the goddess Athena, who fight to protect thw world using sacreds cloth based on the constellations.
The characters are very charismatic, and make you wanna see what they're doing.
There are many sagas like the Poseidon Saga,Asgard Saga and the Hades Saga.
Heres is the first opening,of the Sanctuary saga.

There so much good into this series :x

If you haven't seen it before, I just caught up to Shippuden (about 290 episodes ahead of where you are) and all I can say is wait until you get into that. The only drawback (for me, anyway) was the obscene amount of fillers. Out of the 280 episodes of Shippuden, only about half is actually having to do with the current story. Even though the fillers sometimes have something to contribute to the overall story, it's still annoying to wade through 30-40 epsides of near-meaningless crap at a time. And don't worry, Gaara will become f**king awesome. My 2nd favorite character after Jiraiya.

And it's Orochimaru. :P Now that guy is creepy as hell.

Is any of the Transformers series (from G1 to Prime) considered anime? At least in Japan?

Didn't read spoilers. But I watched ALL OF Dragonball, a little filler is no biggy. Yes, what you said is just a little.

Oh, and Transformers Anime?
All of them from japan are considered I believe.

Fun fact: The English voice-actor for Orochimaru is Steve Blum, TFPrime's Starscream.

Also agree on Shippuuden. Really good stuff in there, if you can bear with the fillers.

I tried watching the English version of the show. Atrocious compared to the original. Japanese voice actors are just so much better at putting life into the characters with their emotions and tones.

I cant really stand the original myself. I think the american actors are really good a the emotional scenes. Have you ever watched one of the sad scenes in english?

Yes, and it didn't have nearly the same effect. I'm sticking with the Japanese.

Headmasters, I think, along with Zone, Masterforce, and a few other in the G1 family I'm probably forgetting. RID and the Unicron Trilogy are all anime, obviously, so are Beast Wars II and Beast Wars Neo. The rest, G1, Beast Era, Animated and Prime, are all American made.

Orochimaru is a damn genius. I started reading the Naruto manga again from where I left off like 4 years ago from where Naruto fought Pain. (I made the spoiler thing for BP.) And stuff is getting intense.

JoJo anime I mentioned earlier started today.
http://www.animeseason.com/jojo-no-kimyou-na-bouken-2012-episode-1/
Pretty cool stuff, not amazing, but they managed to fit 5 chapters into one episode so it's expected.

Animation's kind of weird though. It's like they tried to make it more of a comic than a cartoon which works in some cases (the animated sound effects) but not in others (parts of the fight scenes).

Been reading the Naruto flashback chapters. Still don't like the series but I wanted to know what was up, starting to think somehow Zetsu IS the Gedo Mazo...

So, still watching naruto. OK, so is everything after sasuke leaves on into the beginning of shippuden just one long filler arc or what? It's gone from the bad guy from episode one turning into a thundercat to fish people to meteorite powered freaks, and NONE OF IT IS RELEVANT.

Yeah, like 80 episodes of filler. It's probably what turned most people off to the series.

There are some good points in this long arc, but seriously, why the need for so many filler episodes? I can understand a small arc or two, like the one with the guy from episode one, that was fine, but this is overkill. It's not going to turn me off of the series, as I'm overly patient with these sorts of things, but its really bugging me.

What Rodimus said about Shippuden having alot of filler, is it even more than this?

It's kind of why I stick to the manga instead of the anime. I don't know anything about this meteor b.s. or anything about the movies. The same goes for Bleach. And plus, it distracts from what's actually happening about Sasuke and everything. I'd just rather not deal with all that crap.

So, what are you guys thoughts on the new DBZ Movie?

It's the first one to be made in some time, and akira toriyama says he's never been so heavely involved in a DBZ movie before. It will also take place in the ten years after buu's defeat.

What kind of opertunities could this open up for a good story? With Akira Toriyama co-writing, could it be as good as Wrath of the Dragon?

To be honest, I still don't know the plot to the movie besides that it takes place after Buu. And the trailer for it is just Goku standing there. I'll wait to see a story trailer before I make assumptions.

Yes, yes it is. and who ever they fight better be a real badass. And better have good music in the movie as well like the other movies.

Damn Straight. Whatever the case, I hope this film is worth it to see. Like I said before, at least as good as Wrath of the Dragon.

The problem with the last couple of films to make it over here were that, put simply, they sucked. No real plot, not alot of action, and while the animation was pretty to look at, it wasnt that good.

With this new movie, co-written by toriyama himself, I'm expecting something GOOD. Of course, seeing preiveiws for Dragonball Evolution got my hopes up too, so who really knows? Givin it takes place after the Buu saga though means in the very least that there will be a very wide variety of characters present.

Random question Do any of you know the name or brand of the company that puts out the kinda mature/x-rated, poseible anime female figures?

I don't, but if I did, I don't think I'd want to be responsible for the chain of events following my answer, nor their possible conclusion.
