I'd do it the easy way. Anyone who wants to buy a combo car/plane or car/VTOL-thing can. And anyone who has a pilot's license can fly it in public airspace using the built-in collision avoidance.

Anyone who isn't a pilot can still take advantage of the flight mode, though - they just punch in a destination and the city traffic control flies their car from A to B remotely, lands it, and hands the controls back.

Kind of like having a skateboard and also being able to whistle for a cab when you need to quickly get to Bel-Air.

BACK IN MY DAY, Kevin Conroy was Batman, and Mark Hamill was Joker...PERIOD

BACK IN MY DAY, Multi player games were played with a friend who could afford a second controler, not some faceless dude in maumelle arkansas...

BACK IN MY DAY...

Parents could spank their kids in the middle of the grocery store and all the way out to the car. Other parents would applaud. And, the principal at school was authorized to hit ya with a stick.

I would never had thought of disrespecting an elder. Now, kids yell and cuss at their parents and for some reason that's ok.

It was ok to throw the kids out of the house to go play. We didn't get to sit around on the internet and play video games all day long.

I thought the Commodore 64 was pretty dang cool!

My family owned a Betamax!

Back in the glorious Reagan years, I had to eat government cheese and drink powdered milk.

I climbed rocks, mountains, rode bicycles and went skiing - all without a helmet.

I pledged allegiance to the flag every morning before school started.

I didn't walk with my friends down the middle of the street. We used the sidewalks.

It wasn't an assault charge if you threw snowballs.

I rode in the back of a pick up truck and loved it!

Our phone was on a party line!

There was no such thing as political correctness - you just knew what you could and couldn't get away with saying. If you didn't know, you'd get slugged.

Going to McDonalds was a treat, not dinner every night.

Wal-Mart just wasn't around.

Our first cars were beaters we had to learn how to tune up, change oil/tires and have a job for gas money.

Wrestling WAS worth watching...Andre the Giant and Hulk Hogan!

Cruising was an acceptable form of social interaction - and with gas only being 80 cents a gallon, it was a fairly cheap activity!

And, The Gummy Bears on Saturday morning cartoons! I loved them!

Back in the Day MTV actually played music
Back in the Day G1 ruled the airwaves and toy store shelves
Back in the Day it seemed like all the music that came out were number one hits
Back in the Day there were melodies and no whining while signing

Back in the Day there was no Wildcard in baseball and they had four divisions

Back inthe Day there was w whole different feel then the gloom and doom of today

Back in the Day gas was under $1 per gallon

I guess it was we were younger and the worries of life weren't that hard

Correct me if I'm wrong here, but didn't you grow up during the Cold War? That time the entire country was terrified that we were either going to be taken over by commies, or go to a world-ending nuclear war with them?

Maybe he means a different sort of gloom & doom.

Otherwise; DERP.

Back in my day we knew what it felt like to run barefoot on grass and we could identify the sun in a nonpixelated, nonrendered sky.

I didn't say that. But I've been outside. Just hyperbole about our PS3/PVR nation.

Back in my day, we could get beaten up in school and our parents would tell us that we deserved it!

Back in my day, all the teachers wore polka-dot dresses and high heels, and would call your Cub Scout Den Mother if you acted up in class!

Back in my day, we were often told about how the Soviets would invade Alaska and make their way south and kill us all in their T-72 tanks!

Back in my day, we knew that Dungeons and Dragons was satanic!

Back in my day... We didn't have that fancy indoor plumbing of yours. We had a hole in the ground, a big ol leaf to wipe our bums, and the hope that nobody sees you butt naked!! And don't get me started on what we had to do just to take a shower! We only had an elephant, a big ol leaf to dry ourselves, the hope that nobody sees us butt naked and the hope that the elephant don't stick it's trunk up where the sun don't shine!!!
