There is not much info around the filming in Florida these days but here is a rumor that leaked about the Indiana highway shoot a few weeks ago. According to Collecticon.org the black Decepticon SUVs that we've seen in a few occasions so far are called "The Dreads". This info comes from some crew members so nothing official there. In the video posted by collecticons we see John Turturo's Maybach followed by the red Ferarri, Bumblebee and Sideswipe chased by the three SUVs. This is the first time that we see they are actually 3 not 2 as seen previously. So now we have 3 Wreckers from the autobots and 3 Dreads from the decepticons - hmmm, interesting. My first thought when I saw the 3 SUVs was - Shockwave's drones. Who knows.

Thanks to Energon Pub member Alberside we now know that Collection.org has posted a short article and a new video concerning the Transformers 3 filming in Hammond, Indiana. In the video we can see John Turturo's Maybach followed by the red Ferarri, Bumblebee and the Stingray convertible (presumably Sideswipe) being chased by the 3 Decepticon SUVs. According to collection.orgs' insider source these SUVs are in fact called "The Dreads". If this is just a working name during filming or the final name is currently unknown.

My first thought when I heard the names was that they were referring to ONE robot who they called Dreads because he had actual dreads.

Didn't expect this, maybe they can still have them...

From the look of it they look identical, from the name sounds like Bay wanted a landbased version of The Sweeps.

can bay get sued for this if this is true for copyright name what happens hasbro decidess to make toys ouf these guys they cant can they supposly someone else own the dreadknocks name of gijoe characters?

Unrelated: Has anyone wondered if the armored car with the con logo might just be a normal armored car, set up to bait the Autobots into attacking it as part of an anti-Autobot PR campaign?
