Here is a backpiece I designed as an upgrade to my Kreon Slag kitbash:



A neat feature that you can't see here is the 4.85mm peg hole in the base of the piece, which means, theoretically, you could "transform" Slag by using this has his head. Of course, I probably could have just built a face into it, and you'd just have to tip him over like the original toy, but I kinda like using my extra Cliffjumper helmet for the Slagster.

Are you going to try to hollow this out more to get rid of more material?

With the way you have it positioned I could easily see the large flat portion getting pushed back so that you just have empty shell for the Tri-tops head. Maybe that would give you enough room to put another hole so that this could be put on as a vest too? Maybe not...
