So, whether we like it or not, there will always be glitches in video games. Tell me, what are some of the biggest glitches, map-holes, and/or easter eggs you've ever stumbled across, and how did they effect your playthrough?

I've been fairly lucky when it comes to glitches. They either work in my favor are are simply harmless.

1st was in Minecraft. I had finished a giant stone repheresentation of my head and was transporting my stash of material back to my central home. The game crashed at that point. I logged back in and luckily I still had my items Dropped them off, returned to the head to find it back to 95% complete. Somehow, there was a chunk failure to save. On the bright side, my items were back to their pre-transport location in addition to the ones I had transported. Long story short, Chunk failure resulted in duplicate materials. Whee!


I've been playing a lot out of Skyrim. Most of my glitches are simply display errors. Rocks missing a side, armor I can see through, grass hovering above the ground, etc. Here's my personal best though. An entire section of river was simply missing. I could swim in it, fish swam past, but the water was missing.

Last Boss,in the final form of Sigma, i was i with low health and when was missng just a little to win,i kiled Sigma in same he killed me.So the final cutscene starts playing but because X is dead,i cant adavance the dialogue.

Personal favorite, on the way to the knife racer arena, along the final corner turn, you can go straight through the wall. It's a massive map hole. Good for getting away from the KG, and you can fly out into tye background mountains and structures, through them, and beyond. the whole city will deteriorate eventually however, leaving just floating buildings and such. you die, and everything resets.

Favorite easter eggs:
Liberty cities heart, and the Octopus in assassin's creed 2. youtube them, they're cool. Also look up the Gears of war toaster.

I've had game freezing and music stopping glitches in the Prince of Persia games for the GBA and GameCube. But one game freezing glitch really surprised me, because it was in a game I never expected: Mario & Luigi Superstar Saga.

At Joke's End when you battle Jojora and her friend Chucklissa/Oholina/Hoohoolia/Teeheena/whatever-you-name-her, I once beat that friend by pure luck: she succumbed to the Burn status. However, Jojora has apparently never been programmed for such a scenario. Result: the game froze with a nasty-sounding shriek.

Just remembered an odd one. In mass Effect 2, I ran into the 'Floating Shepard' glitch twice. I somehow lost connection to the floor geography and was stuck walking 10 feet in the air. two different locations where this happened

I haven't experienced this, and they may have patched it out, but in The Old Republic there's a glitch that might make Satele Shan appear very, very tiny in scenes with her. Like, small to the point where she could fit in your pocket. And everyone wants a pocket Satele. I still think Jennifer Hale should re-record her lines, but on helium, just for that bug.

In assassin's creed 2 I eagle dove through the ground, and just kept falling and falling and falling untill I just reset it.

Same odd kind of eternal falling happened to me in level 1 of the Decepticon campaign in wfc
