So, both have their appeal to me. The "superhero" dynamic fits the small screen and a series format quite well, but the more SF feel of the movie is the sort of thing I want to see on the big screen. Just hopefully they give us a bit more characterization next time to go with the awesome battles. :P One of the things I liked about the series is all the quirky characters...[/quote]

I know the following will sound like I am a know it all please don't take it too hard...

See that is what Micheal bay cannot do is charectorization. I study film and I was amazed that they also they for got that jazz's abilty was not to repeat human slang but also to give off disorienting light and sound shows as a way to bring down the enemy.
Also He got killed off!!!! Bay should have known that was a big no-no!
I find Bay's films lacking a lot of things like Joy. Also in the film i noticed consistancy issues like the allspark in the film when i went to see it was called The cube then the all spark then the cube again. I also noted the barrcade bone crusher name messed up. A director or producer should have a handle on thease things. The other thing about this movie that bothers me was when I heard that they were going to deside who was going to play megatron in post production. A good director and producer IMHO while in preproduction records voices before the film even begins filming in production so the actors and the computer effects guys have something to work with or repond to.
Micheal bay if you are reading this I would love to teach you some good Production practices.

Yay, Starscream!! Er...I mean...hi! This reminded me of the clip in the 2-disk extras where the cast was mentioning which character was their fav, and Megan Fox was the only one to mention Starscream.

Speaking of what char's female TF fans like, how about everyone here post their top 3 TF's? :) I'm sure this has been done on another thread, but let's get the ladies' point of view this time.

*Optimus Prime
*Starscream (Initially I didn't care about him very much, but fanfiction made me regard him more favorable)
*Hot Rod (His "If you have to ride, ride with style" line in the movie sends shivers down my spine)

To pick only three is really hard.

Star "ow, my foot" scream?

Hah. I keep trying to convince my (male) friend how much of a pansy Starscream is, but since he saw a bunch of raptors get torn to shreds in the recent movie, HE'S the one with the Starscream complex.

The lengthier explanation is in this post, go read it and save me from having to repost. ;) But the short list:

1. Perceptor, because I have a thing for the nerdy types.

2. Starscream, because he really is just incredibly entertaining to watch.

3. Silverbolt, because he's one of the Autobots I can relate to in some ways.

I guess one "everyone likes 'im" character out of three ain't bad. ;)

Oh, they like me plenty, I can't lie (well, I can and do, but not this time).

But I've got a pretty, loving, TF habit nurturing, Fiance'. So as much as the ladies might love me, I use my nefarious skills to hook up the homies.
