Empire Strikes Back says hi.

But it's not what drives the genre. You could list a whole shit load of sci-fi movies that have had romance in them but the Stephanie Meyer sheep will jump up and down claiming that it was her who did it first.

And they'll get shut down twice as fast. It's not that common, though, I've only ever seen one instance like that; some girl wrote in to some website complaining about the depiction of werewolves in The Wolf Man remake, and that it rips off and ruins the werewolves from Twilight. That one, as I recall, ended with public humiliation.

Sci-fi is actually a safe area to set Meyer loose. There's no established rules or mythos so there's nothing for her to ruin. As long as we don't let her anywhere near an established franchise and no, I think Disney and Lucasfilm are smart enough to keep her away from a certain series involving Lightsabers...

Oh look. My motto on film. I recently got the Blu Ray for this movie, and the commentary by Piper and Carpenter was really good. I hadn't seen the film in about 6 years or so, I started forgetting the awesome cheesiness.

Just got done taking an open book exam. There is just a certain stress with exams. Trust me, there are people with much bigger and much more legit issues than me, and maybe it's my Tourette's syndrome talking, but the stress of taking an exam is still some sort of nerve wracking, even if you think you did well.

Open book exam? What is that, like they let you use a textbook or something?

In this case, open web. Basically, you can use the web for answers. However, usually open book/web test are mildly insidious and deceptively tough. For example, I had write some of my answers in essay form.
