I hated being 18, because people always limped me into the category with your late sleeper. Never understood why someone would apply for a job and not be willing to actually work for it.

The way out welfare system is designed, to stay on it you basically have to fill out your "diary" to say that you've applied for jobs. So you know, apply, sleep in, turn up for an interview whenever you like, make a bad impression, stay at home on welfare! WIN!

But on that note, hey Burn, would a "seibertron members only dating thread" be against the rules? That would certainly be interesting.

I can't see why it would be against the rules. Personally I'm inclined to say no to it because I suspect it just won't work (and may end up in disaster and a lot of reports which I love soooooo much) but my morbid curiosity can't help but say yes.

They're still running ads for dating websites on TV, so there's something going on. There was also that godawful "Date a Gamer" debacle last year. But the less said about that, the better. Unless you want to laugh at how bad it is, in which case, there's always more to be said.

Which apparently they already do because i've seen a few friends complaining about them, but for some reason they pay more attention to the ads than me saying "Chrome or Firefox + AdBlock = Ad Free Internet!"

I used the interwebs for dates and it worked. I was single for 8 months, it's got nothing to do with desperation, it's got something to do with making use of available resources. I met my current girlfriend while getting drunk, yet another great way of using available resources.

It also helps that I am awesome and handsome to boot.

The only times ive ever gotten lucky was when she would like me. Ive never been in a serious relationship I don't think. Just make out, sex, bye, school, repeat until all interest was gone.
