Hows there been a recent anime show that was a huge fad like sailormoon and dbz recently. I remember my sister begging for toys and my mom couldnt find them anywhere. I remember skipping class in highschool with freinds to see the the latest episode in the freeze saga.

That reminds me of the way my friends and I brought the Sailor Moon manga to art class for "reference materials," then passed it around the table, alternating between reading it and working on our projects. Sure, I was up in time to watch the anime even when I'd been up 'till 3AM the previous night, but that's probably why I'm more attached to the manga.

On that note, I'd certainly watch a new series that follows it more closely!

They should just translate and dub the remainder of the episodes. How huge of a manga was or is sailormoon.?

The manga was an 18 volume / 52 chapter series, not the largest of series but not small either. It is no longer being sold in English and was never fully released, but fan scanlations of all 52 chapters are available.

Also, all 200 episodes of Sailor Moon have been fansubbed, plus the movies. So if any English speaking person wants to watch them they are freely available.

What Tekka said.

...and then there's that cringe/giggleworthy proposed Saban versio- *tackled by angry mobs and gagged with duct tape*

Fansub: Fan-made subtitles.

You're thinking of Fandub, where fans do the voices.

Well, the Live Action show follows the manga pretty well.

How about a new TFA like seires, drawn by Derrick Wyat himself. And Sailor Moon could be voiced by susan blu. And Artimus by David Kaye. Luna could be voiced by tara strong. and KEEP THE DARK KINGDOM. They were the best bad guys. And only have the original 5 senshi.
A fanboy can dream. :P

on topic portion bolded for your benefit. That was your oppurtunity to "educate" me on what a great show i've been missing...next time try seizing the oppurtunity instead of pissing it away trying to play mod.

It is really nice. FF8 is underrated, at least compared to FF6 and FF7.

As for Sailor Moon...ehh...I prefer shows meant for males.

I just started playing the game again a few days ago. It is really underrated, and it is a shame. The FF7 fans really hated on it unfairly and that stigma has stuck with it ever since. =/

What's really weird as that a lot of people hate FF7 inexplicably. It's like anything post-Kefka isn't good.

That's one of the weird things about the fan complex. "Old stuff rules and new stuff sucks" often with no objective reasoning behind it at all, other than nostalgia. That kind of closed minded attitude can be really disappointing at times...

Yeah. FF6 was good...it was great, but best FF ever...? Probably, yeah.

But that doesn't mean FF7 and FF8 don't have their merits.

My money is on FFVI personally. Gotta love the 16-bit era. (and that story OMG it was awesome.)

FF6 was the most well written game of the series. I can't think of a single thing about FF6 that disappoints me.

Oh... and then there are the people who don't like things because they're popular. *shrug* Ah well, just gotta deal with it. =x
