jimsloth wrote:Oh yea, that silver... Not what I meant, but a good idea on the part swapping. I meant the paint job on the car mode. Consider stripping it off and leaving it a red car mode as opposed to red with silver all over the place?

Jim: I considered modding the face, but then I considered the fact that, well... he [/i]likes[/i] fighting, and is generally pretty cheerful about it. If anything, I wish I could think of how to make it into more of a malicious grin.
As for the silver... yeah, I think I'm gonna leave it. If I painted all that stuff black, a lot of it'd probably just rub off again, especially at the shoulders and fists. I'm almost tempted, actually, to get another Bumblebee and swap the parts, but I have enough to spend my lack of money on already at the mo. And then I'd just have to find something to do with the new yellow and grey Bumblebee, and... it's a never-ending spiral of confusion.
Well, technically, she's a blue Bumblebee with grey linbs. The original Glyph figure (a convention exlusive) was a metallic blue repaint of G1 Bumblebee with grey limbs and windows. If someone were to do both Freeway and Glyph using the same mold, the best way to differentiate them in car mode is by using tow different hues of blue. For Glyph, a darker Metallic blue similar to that used on the G1 Thundercracker model. For Freeway, use a brighter sky blue.RavageX-9 wrote:I wouldn't mind if someone used the mold to make all the Throttlebots, but they look so much like other guys. I had no idea Glyph was pretty much Freeway. I wonder if that was intentional, or just... not much color variety. Still... Glyph deserves the Classics Bumblebee car mold and toy-Bumblebee head, while Freeway needs to not look like Glyph in car mode.
also, when is someone going to mod Classics Bumblebee with a longer alt mode for use as the Battlechargers?
Tramp wrote:Actually Ramrider, what you could do with the "extra" Bumbleee with silver limbs is make Glyph from it. Glyph had silver/grey limbs. All it would require then is a minor face sculpt to make it more feminine and a blue paint job.
