I'm Alex. I'm 24 years old and live in Arizona. I grew up on Beast Wars, Robots in Disguise, Armada, and Energon. I recently decided to try to sell a good portion of my figure collection. This website was name-dropped on Reddit, so I figured I'd give it a go.

Are you still into collecting figures, or the fiction at all? Or are you just going to try to use the rather bountiful resources we have here? I'm sure there are people here that are very interested in getting a piece of your collection.

I'm still very much into the fiction and video games! I also have G1 and some of the more-talked-about recent generations on my watch list. I'm just trying to reduce the size of my physical collection, haha.

But yeah, I'll definitely check some of the boards out when I can make time. :p

My name is Mark! I am 24 years old and I live in Brentwood,CA; the one located in Northern California, not to be mistaken for the one in Southern California. I've been a fan of Transformers since the Beast Wars saga and have been slowly watching more of the classic G1 series. If anyone is located in the East bay area around where I live, give me a shoutout. Always looking for Transformer friends to talk to and geek out with (since I honestly really don't have any friends like that that enjoy Transformers like I do ) Any Transformer friends to talk to would be nice though

Hey I'm Raven. I'm a 15 year old from Maryland. When I was little I used to watch the G1, Energon and Cybertron series (sadly I didn't pay much attention to the latter two). I wasn't a huge fan of the series until 2007 when the 1st live-action film, which is the only one I like out of the movies, got my attention. Then came Transformers Animated which was the first show that had me thinking, "Woah, the good guys are cool and all but those Decepticons... and that Starscream guy...", I found myself rooting for the Decepticons every now and then. As a 7 year old I thought that the Starscream's actions against Megatron and his schemes for leadership were the coolest concepts ever. After that I started looking up episodes for the previous series along with keeping up to date on the Prime series. I came across this website when I was looking for scans of #12 of All Hail Megatron to check out the whole situation with Thundercracker, one of my favorite Transformers. Then I saw the Heavy Metal War concept and thought it'd be pretty cool to try it out.

Raven, welcome to you too! There's a lot of juicy introduction material there, nicely done. There are many Animated fans around the area, and definitely a lot of Deceptifans.

If comics are still your thing - we've come a long way since AHM - make sure to check out this section: transformers-cartoons-and-comics-forum-f23.php

And for HMW, Burn is your go-to pestering person. I think. Just go pester Burn, he loves it.

I'm Marco 38 years from Lucca, Italy about 30 km from Pisa (leaning tower...)
and very happy to be in suche a good company of Transformers fans!

A Transformers fan since early 80's, i remember that one of my first Transformers was a Diaclone Powered Convoy. I was been a lucky child, i had a great collection (used) that now is quite completly sold. (see attachment)

I found Seibertron.com while i was searching some site to help me identify parts and weapons to sell my collection.

The only one that i'll never sell is my favourite: Soundwave (Memor in Italy) and all of his cassettes, if you want to know why, read the story at the end of post.
I'm also trying to do one cassette on my own, if you are interested i'll show pictures of work in progress.

Unfortunatly while i was tryng to sell my Transformers to make some extra money i saw that Takara did a new line called Masterpiece... Now it's very difficult for me desist to by them all!! for now i bought only Soundwave of course and Starscream.




The story of my Soundwave:

When i was a child i couldn't even imagine of which transformers were made toys, in Italy they were importet by Gig, and in theyr catalogue Soundwave never appeared...
In my elementary school one boy said to me that he has one, bought in a bigger city, but never show it to me. (Soundwave!! )

I asked to the owner of my favourite toy shop if he had never seen Soundwave, and it was difficult because the only way was to describe it and make him look the intro of cartoon (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ae-Pl-Q34ng)...

He said that Soundwave exist but not available to buy (dunno why) but he promised me that he will brought one to me as soon as possible.

Some month later when i was looking new arrives finally i saw Soundwave, a KO version of Microman made by Shantai whit Laserbeak inside.
I was the happier child on earth!! i waited at least 2 years...

Hey everyone!

Fourteen-year-old Ukrainian/American fan here. I consider myself pretty diehard for my age. I've been fascinated with Transformers for basically as long as I remember (it all started with an Energon coloring book.

I draw Transformers all the time. Air vehicles are my favorite, but I think I'm skilled enough to draw dudes with whatever alt-mode. I'm really into the IDW comics (MTMTE especially), but I'm pretty knowledgeable about any continuity family, really. Besides G1 I'd have to go with Cybertron, since that's the one I grew up with and because of the high quality of both the toys and the show. (I'm quite a stickler for show-toy accuracy and Cybertron pretty much nailed it in that department).

My all-time favorite transformer is Brainstorm. I think he reflects my own personality amazingly well. Unfortunately, I'm not able to get many toys, so my collection is rather small compared to many of you guys, consisting of G1 Dogfight, Cybertron Wingsaber and Optimus Prime (missing weapons), Cybertron Landmine (missing gun), Cybertron Legends Hot Shot, 07 Jazz (missing sword), 07 Overcast (missing projectiles) TFA Jazz (missing Nunchuck), TFA Freeway Jazz, TFA Soundwave, TFA Ratchet (missing tools), TFA Prowl (broken finger), TFA Megatron, TFA Bumblebee (in pieces), ROTF Sideswipe, ROTF Skids, Prime Cyberverse Rippersnapper, and, of course, Thrilling 30 Brainstorm.

Outside of Transformers, I'm also a fan of Bionicle and other LEGO properties. I'm taking elective classes on creative writing and programming, and hope to work as a writer/ illustrator or weapons engineer (no joke) in the future.

Ok, how I got into Transformers. I actually started out playing with my dad's old G1 figures (and breaking some unfortunately). My first real experiences however, were the 2007 movie and Animated, both the toys and the visual media. I've grown to be a big fan of Generations over the years,too.

The movie and Animated were a big introduction for a lot of newer fans, and a reintroduction for some older ones too (I know that's the case for me!). Are you interested in other stuff, beyond the toys? What do you think of the new Toy Fair reveals?
