I've been saying for a while that it could be the arm of Alpha Trion. I hope it's true.

Then again, it wasn't exactly common knowledge to the general cybertronain public that Alpha Trion was one of the Thirteen, so Megs wouldn't exactly know to take his arm.

Unless he'd had found out later on after the Great Exodus. Like if Shockwave had pried that info out of him and reported it to Megatron at some point.

Does his departure happen before the fall of Iacon as per the Smokescreen intro?

Uhm, the fall of Iacon occurred when the Autobots left on the Ark. Then, the 'cons stormed it. His departure happens during the events of being on Earth, years later.

Uhm, the fall of Iacon occurred when the Autobots left on the Ark. Then, the 'cons stormed it. His departure happens during the events of being on Earth, years later.

Aha! (I haven't read the books or played the games).

So, Megatron was present at the fall of Iacon and was in command of the battle in the books/games BUT is not confirmed to be involved in the storming of the archive complex in the series. (Also, Jazz wasn't possibly at the storming because he was on the Ark according to the Wiki).

Smokescreen began his journey to earth in the escape pod before the A/bots even started heading towards Earth, because there's an assumption they planet-hopped around first? But there was still a Decep presence and interest on/in Earth at that time.

Alpha Trion confirms that he launched all the relics (that are relevent to TF:PRIME) but nobody ever saw or heard from him again after that (the message in the sword to Optimus being recorded before the storming or right on the event).

Megatron led the Deceps to Earth and then left only to vanish 'forever' and then reappear with the Dark Energon in his possession at the opening of this show?

Still, (provided I've got my head around the above right) that would still make the tomb Autobot built. If it was Alpha Trions' tomb after the fall of Iacon it would mean he escaped the storming. I'm still betting on a different Prime.

The Hall of Records was stormed after the Ark and Nemesis left. So Megatron was not present for the taking of the Hall as he was chasing the Ark, which was going from planet to planet at the time.

Though, Iacon itself was taken right as the two ships were launched from Cybertron, so as the two skirmished in the skies above, Iacon fell to Decepticon control, with the Hall of Records being the last stronghold standing after the ships departed.

Alpha Trion would have had his vision of Earth while the Ark was still planet-hopping and so would have sent the relics there long before either faction would have ever reached Earth.

Anyone else notice that Smokescreen is the same size, if not taller, than Ratchet? What are the odds of that?

As far as toys go...

I'm also waiting to see what they do with the AM Smokescreen. If it's a full blown repaint of Knock Out, it will look dreadful. Just because of the head, arms, and fear all of the AM ports will be in the same place:



If they retool it they'll need to do it with the head, and hopefully reassemble the arm structure. I really want to add a Prime Smokescreen to my collection, but not if it looks fugly.

Back on topic of the cartoon, I really hope the Smokescreen doesn't screw up with the Phase Shifter. I don't want the same thing happened to that per Star Saber.

Also waiting for the day Wheeljack joins Team Prime. Might not happen as quick as '1, 2, 3,' however, Wheeljack needs repairs. Shot in the shoulder, beat up by Soundwave and Hardshell, and he's still out on the road. Won't be surprised if he's the first main secondary Autobot character to get killed off.

And...more named Decepticons. Anyone else invision Shockwave survived the explosion, and when the Bots & Cons are on Cybertron in the Season Finale, he's there during the climax? I'd love to see Arcee vs Shockwave.

I think that the Omega deal is similar towards Transformers Cybertron and how it Regenerated Cybertron but in TF Prime it will be done in a whole new and unique way.

The Omega Lock such as in Cybertron and in TF Prime will be diffrent and look diffrent they only share there namesake.

The Omega Keys are also diffrent from Prime and Cybertron which in Cybertron they are called the Cyber Planet Keys which are inserted into the Omega Lock.

In Prime they are called the Omega Keys which will rejuvenate Cybertron when all Omega Keys will be inserted into the Omega Lock.

I also assume the Omega Lock will need to be at a certain Location on Cybertron in order to be activated and can only be done so by a Prime so only OP or Megatron can Activate and use the Omega Lock and its Keys.

Say what you will about Megatron that was pure briliance on his part attaching a Prime onto himself if he cant obtain it through normal means Megatron always finds a new way around it.

I cant wait to see what the Omega Lock looks like we have seen the Keys but not the Lock which I assume is on Cybertron.

Alpha Trion hasnt been seen physically on the show just the wierd vision that showed him in a Dream like state but never physically has been he been on Prime.

I also reckonized AT VA from movies and I forgot his name but I recognize the VA.

Everything seen in Prime only shares the namesake of the past from the Starsaber to the Omega Lock but they are nothing alike or how they are used are also diffrent from previous shows such as Cybertrons Omega Lock, or Armada's Starsaber.

What next the Moonbeam Shield, Requiem Cannon I can think of more but I dont feel like naming them.

Hopefully Season 2 will set up for a nice Beast Hunters intro so we can get a glimpse of what to expect.

I dont know if the kids will still be on Prime they are going back to Cybertron and this Beast Hunters so it is safe to say maybe no more Earth either on Prime.

I am curious to see the kids and human allies react to their friends leaving for Cybertron.

I also figured Megatron had a 2nd Spacebridge brilliance hiding it behind the Dark side of the moon out of range and no prying eyes can see it.

Cant wait Season 3 on the way with Season 4 confirmed.

Alpha Trion released the final and most powerful of the relics: The Omega Keys. Don't think we'll be meeting anymore new relics anytime soon, especially considering the quest for the keys transitions directly into the Season Finale.

I think we're going to get some sort of "Flashback" of the gap between Season 2 and Season 3 during the Season Premiere. Because the Dinobots comic fills that gap.

Well, if not Earth, perhaps Animatron? I don't expect them to leave Earth permanently. They might just use the Decepticons' Space Bridge to their advantage. I've been thinking the Beast Hunters will be a line of Triple Changers, with vehicle modes for disguise and robot & beast modes for alternating battle strategies.

I'm a bit late to the party because I was at an anime convention, but here's my little stream of consciousness.

Alpha Trion seems kinda fruity.
The Forge of Solus Prime requires "the hand of a Prime". Apparently that's a very literal statement, since Megatron grafting on the arm of an unnamed Prime allowed him to wield it.
The DARK STAR SABER, forged from pure Dark Energon. I think they should have just called it the Dark Saber, especially since that's what it was called in the Armada toyline, but whatever.
And Smokescreen is DEAD. That didn't take long.
Arcee's face is just.......oh man. She looks destroyed.
Star Saber vs. Dark Star Saber.....hell of a battle. Ultimately Optimus gets his blade broken. I expected it to last a FEW more episodes, but now the Decepticons have the advantage again, which allows for more Autobot come-from-behind victories.
And Smokescreen is un-dead.
Smokescreen saves the Omega Key, Megatron is angry, and we have our plot for the rest of the season.
