Yeah, Knock Out being removed from the wall so soon does bug me more than a bit, since Megatron is so unforgiving when it comes to failure among his subordinates.

Maybe someone other than Megatron releases Knock Out from the wall?

The thought has crossed my mind, I'll admit. We'll just have to see.

Why not Starscream? He would still be looking for allies within the ranks.

This is what i've been going with. Starscream still needs his T-Cog put back in and Knock Out's the only one on board who can do it.

Wow. Totally just realized the spelling error.

Anyways, with predacons joining the cast in season 3, anyone here hoping to see some Star Seekers? That and the Dinobots to go head-to-head with the predacons?

I sure hope so. Aside from Thundertron, we're supposed to be getting the other [four] Star Seekers in the Beast Hunters line according to rumor, and a possible Voyager Prime Grimlock. We'll have to wait and see. :P

I sure hope hasbro doesn't totally go and troll us by saying that the FOC Grimlock is Beast Hunters Grimlock. With all the new weapons and additions to the older prime toys, a beefed up Grimlock would be nice to have alongside his FOC self.

I object. having him look the same in the show as the game would provide a greater sense of harmony between the two mediums that is always welcome as it provides a greater sense of continuity between the two. :D

Hmmm... That Is true... I'll just be happy if I can get some sort of Grimlock.

I'd be happy with all five Star Seekers. They're slowly becoming my new favorite faction, emphasis on new. :D

Also, I'm probably going to have to start writing my "reviews" of the new episodes of Prime on Mondays rather than directly afterwards. Got a lot on my plate nowadays.

Patch

Another clip show, yet so much better than "Grill."

2 more episodes, set on Cybertron!!!! This will be an epic season finale

I normally don't like clipshows, but I really liked this one. It moved the story forward while looking back at what has already happened, and managed to squeeze some character development out of it. They really went all-out with the character animation, too.

Fun to see some of the scenes we remember but from a different vantage point with Megatron present. A great way to keep the clip show feeling fresh.

Episode 50 -

Smokescreen didn't say "Think fast!" in the "Previously on..." recap.

Okay, so there are SOME clips in this episode, but they're all relatively fast and it seems like they're getting them out of the way first. Plus, the new dialogue from Megatron and present-day Starscream add something extra to these scenes not included in the original versions.

LOL at Knock Out not wanting to get caught for his past First Lieutenant ambitions.

Hellooooooooo, Dreadwing! And, again, where have you BEEN?! You keep going AWOL during times were you could be by your master's side like a good First Lieutenant should be. Ever since your promotion, you've been a pretty absent second-in-command.

Unlike Beast Wars Megatron (before Beast Machines), Prime Megatron shows appreciation towards those who abide by the H-Word. ;)

Wait a sec? Was Starscream even present for Skyquake's death? If not, then how is Megatron seeing that memory?

Now, hold on! Starscream was certainly NOT there when the Shadowzone was made know by the kids. He would NOT know about it, nor anything about Terrorcon Skyquake.

Dreadwing ain't happy.

This episode completely fooled me. While I did expect there to be some recollection of the past, it being an entire clip show episode just did not click with me AT ALL. Unlike "Grill", where we couldtell immediately that it would be a recap episode, all the promos for this one showed nothing but new footage and gave zero indication of it being a clip show. and because it turned out to be one, I am greatly disappointed.

HOWEVER, the new stuff that we did get was pure gold. Starscream doing disco, Knock Out's past ambitions exposed, and Dreadwing's revelation about Skyquake were all nicely done and carried out exceptionally well.

Next week, part one of the season finale.

So, "Patch".
Megatron has removed Knock Out from the wall rather promptly.
And he's performing another Cortical Psychic Patch. I nominate this for "Best recurring plot device".
Starscream is so fruity during the "All Hail Starscream!" segment. Oh god those dance moves. The animators were having a blast with this.
Megatron sees all Starscream's embarassing, deep, dark thoughts. The evidence of his treachery comes to light, and I wouldn't be too pleased if I were Megatron.
Knock Out isn't too pleased with some of Starscream's memories either. But Dreadwing stops him from pulling the plug.
I just noticed that Megatron's psyche has his normal right arm. It makes sense in a way, I guess.
Now Dreadwing is upset about the fate of Skyquake.
Megatron calls out Knock Out before he can do anything. Meanwhile, Dreadwing is out on the surface of the Nemesis having something akin to a "big no" moment. Aaaaand cut to black. Well then.

It was a clip show, but it had a good frame, and Megatron's ultimately going to allow Starscream back because the Decepticons need to unite. I smell a set stage for the finale. (I've been avoiding the spoilers.) Can't wait for next week!

"Turducken! It's like a turducken!"
"I'm sorry?"
"Turducken! It's like a turducken!"
"Sorry?"
"Turducken! Turducken! Turducken!"

I'm torn on this episode. Another clip episode in the same season is frickin' ridiculous. But on the other hand we got some great Decepticon interactions, most importantly between Megatron and Starscream which was previously lacking.

Starscream's dancing was hilarious. Oh, and am I the only one who thinks Knockout is becoming more dangerous? I mean that was very devious of him to even think of pulling the plug on Megs. Not that Knockout knows anything about the word loyalty. And Dreadwing finding out about his twin's remains...I'd be pissed too if my twin's body was desecrated like that.

Th best thing about 'Patch' was Starscream's epic dance moves. I MUST HAVE MORE.

But in all honesty, this is where the slag hits the fan and everything gets real.

I think Dreadwing's rather pissed that Megatron wants to keep it a secret from him. Reason to leave the 'cons and his absence in the Season 3 Decepticon group promo.

Whatever happened to the human characters?

One thing I noticed in the last few episodes of Transformers prime is that suddenly all the human characters seem to be absent. that's not necessarily a bad thing – it's actually kind of like I would've liked the show to be from the beginning. (no offense to their voice actors, I think they do a great job.) but does anyone know why? it's inconsistent with most of the history of the show and seems too sharp a break to be a simple coincidence of "it was just the direction the story took."

Miko's the only mystery. Jack's probably grounded from the events of Legacy. Raf we know is being relocated by Fowler since the Decepticons found his family's house in The Human Factor. That, and Andy Pessoa went through puberty, so they replaced or are replacing his VA.
