I disagree with that last statement. Starscream has learned to fear Megatron's strength, so he's acting the part of the loyal servent to preserve his spot in the Decepticon ranks. Megatron made it clear when he killed Dreadwing without a second thought that he has no reservations about doing the same to Starscream if he ever crosses him. Since Starscream values his hide more than most, he's not going to be playing up the cliche Starscream for a while. So it's not that he's reverted back to beginning-of-show development, but simply that he's learned that he can't beat Megatron.

he also wants to win more than anything i suspect that he will wait till he can ensure megatrons destruction=to be honest though im in favor of starscream actually killing megatron perminently no galvatron resurection i would like to see megatron removed =he is just not that interesting to me

At this point in the show, after all starscream has done, and with the patch, I doubt megatron will doubt his loyalty. Although, if starscream gathered enough rebellious decepticons, such as knockout and himself, he might be able to cause a civil war, which would result in bad news for all cons :(. Megatron is probbly right (as usual) if the decepticons want to survive, they have to take advantage of the autobots being divided and optimus being dead (possibly). ALL HAIL MEGATRON!

It's not that Starscream isn't still treasonous, but he's not going to be nearly as bold as he was up to this point unless Megatron looks like he is absolutely 100% down for the count.

Great responses.

I wonder what Starscream will do going forward? He never learns his lesson permanently.

I am wondering if the absence of Optimus Prime will allow for Ultra Magnus to step in and advertise his toy. One can hope. I hope that Magnus, Kup and Hot Shot all come in as a group to then be in conflict with Team Prime similar to Animated where the Autobot elite guard complicated the Optimus Prime's mission on Earth. I also wonder if Wheeljack would jump at the chance to serve under Magnus again thus forcing Bulkhead to chose intrafaction loyalties.

The possibilities are endless, but I feel we will be getting some Magnus action. He is also getting a weaponizer. I cannot wait.

I hope he does now, another time Starscream as a traitor? It is boring!

Great idea, bu i'm not sure did creators decide to introduce permanently entire team of Autobots. I'm affraid that we get only a 2 or 3 beast hunters. I't wont be a suprise.

It wouldn't surprise me if Magnus made it into the show, now with three different toys. If they ever think it's a good idea to introduce Kup...don't. I'd want Ironhide before Kup any day.

Hot Shot's model could be the same as BB's but with a different head. If that is the case, it would be easy to make the model.

Also we are only getting like 3 Predacons so... >.>

Well Kup is the toy we are getting. I am not holding my breath for Ironhide unfortunately. All old people look the same.

What? We only have 3 Predacons so far, one of which is the only one confirmed. We saw the first wave, not the entire toyline.

True, but we also have to take into account all the retools of the line as well. I doubt the entire line will be all new characters. All I know is that one looks like Sinnertwin and that sells me on how awesome it is.

Also, getting a toy does not mean getting a spot on the show.

So, you're saying this line is going to have a ton of retools. No dip, but do you honestly believe these three Predacons are the only ones that are ever being released?

I think it's gonna ultimately be about 50/50 new molds and retools, assuming some of the new molds are new Autobots and Decepticons, and not just Predacons, and then assume again that about half of the new figures will be Predacons. I think ultimately that gives about 6 or 8 new Predacons spread across the 4 major size classes, discounting dupes like Commander Predaking and Voyager Predaking.

Looks like prime is headed to the cw's Saturday morning cartoon block.

Vortexx is getting TF: Prime? Expect noticeable censorship.

I saw a promo for it while my niece was watching yugioh.

Yeah, others are reporting similar cases. This is gonna be interesting seeing as how dar kand mature this show is in its tone and violence when compared to most other children's cartoons. Since Vortexx is censoring JLU and DBZ Kai, I expect Prime to follow in suit with the censors going nuts with it.

I think it's great that it's getting wide exposure (I say wide because CW is usually a local channel and not cable or satellite based), but if it's chopped and edited, it's not worth watching. Part of it's impact is how dark and violent it is.

Still... Saban + Saturday mornings + Transformers = Childhood all over again. WIN.

Fixed. ;)

I say this due to RiD being the only TF cartoon Saban had worked on.

I was wondering what if Megatron brought Optimus back to life with dark energon in season 3? I mean they did have a Zombie prime in season 3 of G1 so there is presidence. Also it would allow Megatron access to the Primes Weapons

It's an interesting concept. Already done by this point, but it would leave room for Ultra Magnus to run in here and replace Optimus.

It would be nice, but do you really think they'll decide to replace Optimus?

He already has two confirmed toys, and ..well, he keeps coming back. In every continuity.
Always.

It would be nice to have him dead, for once.

It's not like Optimus is going to stay offline. Why not have a temporary replacement?

Who sAYS Optimus is even dead? I sure wasn't convinced by that ending. Death is death in this show, and Optimus is too crucial a marketing device character to just kill off.
