Wow not till the fall? I thought the new season started in the spring or am I getting confused with the TV movie you just mentioned.

From what I've gathered from all sources, The new season will be starting pretty soon here in the Spring, and in October, they will release the first few episodes of the season (like they have before) on DVD called "Predacons Rising", then the second half of the season will pick up in the fall and will probably end with a T.V. movie... at least this seems to be the most logical explination.

I was tring to come up with a fllow-up pun on the word Hunter but I can't seem to think of one. But know the effort was there.
And yes, it's totally beast. Good to know he show really is coming back in the spring. For a second I though they were going to make us wait an entire year for another season. And seeing as I'm like the only person in the world who adored season 2, I would not have been too happy.

Really? You liked it? Awesome All I ask is that season 3 be as good as the second half of season 2.

Could Ratchet possibly join the Decepticons early in the season, only to sacrifice himself for the Autobots in the finale? Its been stated that there will be side switching on both sides, and Jeffery Combs said that season 3 would be the end, only to later confirm a season 4. He might've meant the end for Ratchet.

I've been saying over and over again. Nobody wants to agree. Ratchet's most likely the side switcher next season. He doesn't have to switch willingly, but I foresee it coming. Thank you.

I also agree with you. While he does seem to be the most obvious choice, I believe that it is a reasonable move considering his character progression. Ratchet is my favorite character and I love how he served as the check on Optimus, especially at the end of season 2. I think this will be an amazing story arc that doesn't repeat any of the TF norms. I'm very excited about season 3.

The other side-switcher that is obvious would be Dreadwing...if he lived. I really believe we will see him again because his demise was somewhat anti-climactic to me. I was left wanting to know more of what happened to him and if he joins up with the 'Bots, then we'll get to learn even more about him.

On another note, I'll be interested to see how the final issue of Rage of the Dinobots "ties in" with Season 3. It obviously will have a lot to do with Shockwave, but hopefully there will be some foreshadowing/setting up for an eventual Dinobot appearance in the show!

Oh and for the record, I loved season 2 as well!! Bring on Beast Hunters!!!

I initially read that it was scheduled to come out on on February 20th. However, this same site said that issue #3 was due out on January 30th and it came out a week later. I spoke with my local comic guy and he said it listed Feb. 20, but that it would likely be delayed one week to the 27th. Either way, it's only 1 or 2 weeks from tomorrow!
