Thing is, Shockwave being able to be killed without actually dying thanks having multiple avatars would feel like a cop-out to those who hadn't
read "Rage of the Dinobots". I myself kinda found it to feel a bit like a cheat when I read it, as it made Shockwave's not-death feel more like a hollow attempt of being dramatic just for the sake of it.
He ain't dead, is he?
Didn't say so. Just said that a nice big bonk could "beat" him, not "kill" him.
Eat that Geewunners.
Yeah, it's basically like if G1 Megatron, after having changed bodies so many times, suddenly once said, "Why would I ever want to go back to being a handgun? That was a stupid altmode that I never want to turn into ever again."
If you've read Exodus, wanna read the War For Cybertron comic? PM me.
