Further to this, there's a new downloadable Pokedex application coming out which seems to have turned your dream into a reality. Looking at the models they've come up with, using the models instead of sprites in future games suddenly doesn't seem like such a distant idea anymore.

I've tried beating Ghetsis a handful of times and It's just painful. I'm having problems, mainly because there was no Ice Beam TM before the 8th gym, so I ended up dropping Simipour in favor of Beartic, who I thought would be the savior of all my Dragon problems before... Hydreigon. Gets Fire Blasted into oblivion. Serpy is Lvl.60 but she's still got no chance. And Zekrom is just there for looks it seems, his Dragon move can't do much against Hydreigon. Can't even pause the game to Rare Candy his ass either. My fighter Gurdurr is extremely underlevelled and underevolved. This is probably Nintendo trolling me for picking a non-Water starter for the first time in 13 years. Complete the National Dex in Diamond... almost five-star my Trainer ID in Heart Gold, and can't even beat the final boss in White... 
So yeah, guess I'd like it if I could borrow a high-level pokemon frmo one of you just to get through this ridiculous situation.
