I guess, but to me, five weeks is kinda quick to build a match, especially a Wrestlemania-quality match.
Well, quality isn't something I really look for in WWE stuff anymore. That way I'm not disappointed. But, considering the wrestlers and their abilities, I'm willing to give them the benefit of the doubt. If they crank it up over the next few weeks, it might be one of the matches I look forward to. Otherwise, Besides Hell in a Cell, this WrestleMania is going to suck. (Given that The Rock will job to Cena. I will be thoroughly shocked if he doesn't.)
And like at last year's Wrestlemania, without that hanging over the match, I'm pretty sure it won't be awesome on repeat viewings.
Yeah, but the WWE doesn't care about that. Once they have your PPV money, that's all they need.
That's why ratings and quality are down from 2-5-8 years ago. They just don't put as much effort into being creative, and they don't have wrestlers who can perform as well. The PG era is bad for business. I haven't been a regular follower since 2001, I just kinda check in around the Royal Rumble and follow through to WrestleMania, and then not care for the next 9 months. And I don't regret it. I consider it time and money saved.
