Yeah, actually I wouldn't have minded seeing Show lose at WrestleMania either, it would have only enhanced Cody. He's actually very good at being a douchebag, and is also giving credibility to the belt again because he happens to be a good wrestler.

I just watched the 1999 Survivor Series, 2000 No Mercy, and 2000 Survivor Series back-to-back-to-back. I don't think the WWE has created any better storylines than the mystery of "who ran over Stone Cold" in the last 12 years. I remember watching every Monday night to find out who did it and why. (Yes, I am aware that Austin needed neck surgery anyway, but the story was a lot of fun.)

I actually liked the Who blew up the Limo thing until the Benoit situation made them end it. I thought that was an AWESOME way to write off Vince for a while and let him "retire". I agree with the thoughts that Lesnar should have gone over Cena, if Cena was taking time off.

I didn't get to watch the ppv though cause of finals prep coming up. I never got into Cody though, may just be personal preference but he was always (IMO) the less talented of Dusty's sons.

WrestleMania 23. Pretty good event. I never watch the "main event" because I don't like Cena or HBK.

WrestleMania XXIV. It's been a while since I saw this, I forgot how good it is. One of the best 'Manias in a while. The card was solid all the way through, with the exception of the crap with Snoop Dogg and the divas. That was just stupid. I was so happy when Orton won, I was the only one rooting for him. Also, WWE should do more triple threat main events. They end up being really good, if the right people are in there.

WrestleMania 25. Another good event, if a bit lackluster compared to XXIV and XXVI. Another awesome MitB match, another triple threat title match. And Taker vs. HBK was just mind-blowing. Best match on the card by far.

Wrestlemania XXVI. One of the best overall Manias, probably in the top 3 for me. Orton, Hitman, Taker, all did awesome.

I know this may sound shocking, but Natalya and Layla had a good match on Smackdown. I didn't feel the need to forward through a Diva match for once.

One of the rare instances when looks aren't the only thing? I know Natalya can wrestle, and Layla is OK. (But she is my type, though, a short brunette.)

WrestleMania XXVII. The 1st WM ever where I liked the outcome of every match.

Edge won.
Orton won.
The Corre lost.
Lawler won. (Yeah, I know it was reversed, but I don't count that. :P )
Mysterio lost. (I usually like his costumes but that one was just garbage.)
Ziggler and Laycool lost.
Undertaker won.
Cena lost.

Awesome.

That's not really the word I'd use to describe that Wrestlemania. I mean, the eight man tag was over so fast if you went to get food, you missed it (and they redid it on that week's Smackdown, more than proving its status here as time filler). I know I said ATM, that Snooki was actually pretty good, but I also said that I was surprised how much I liked it given how low my expectations of it were. (Plus, with Trish involved, it was a given that they would win.) Taker/Trips was only served well with the question of whether or not the streak would end. Watched now with the knowledge that it's not, you realize how much time was wasted with Taker rolling around the mat like the tired old man he is. And Miz vs. Cena...I'm no Cena fan, but having Miz go over on the big show (no pun intended) didn't go well with me. I think Miz is a great heel, but he's NOT champion material.

Well, those are your opinions. I'm sticking with mine. :)

I can't wait until Tuesday, when WM XXVIII is released on DVD. Is it bad that I actually want to see the Hall of Fame ceremony more than the event itself? (Except maybe for Rock vs. Cena)

If it is, then I'm right there with you. Aside from Taker/Trips (everything the WM 27 match should have been but wasn't) and Rock/Cena (which actually managed to be good despite the overhype), nothing on the card actually interested me.
