Rodimus Prime wrote:It might have to do with when the ban on their use of WWF exactly went into effect. I know it was early 2002, so maybe it happened between those 2 shows?

Rodimus Prime wrote:Not bad, but there's still no contact description. the set comes out in 2 weeks! Hopefully it'll be strictly WWE from 1998-2004. That's what I consider the height of the Attitude Era, though I think it may stretch as far as early 2007, when there was still blood in the matches.
Rodimus Prime wrote:I don't think it was the dumbest thing ever. They've done some really dumb **** before. I knew there was gonna be something, they couldn't just let Lawler have a good moment and sit down at the announcers' table. But it was kind of mild, compared to what I was expecting. Also, when they showed backstage footage of Lawler being worked on, it occurred to me that this could actually be an elaborate angle, that it was all a work, but I'm not so sure.
Seeing the more adult-themed direction Cena has gone in regarding AJ, and having the ambulance present (symbolizing imminent serious injury on TV) during the Ryback-Maddox match, it's good to see they're taking a small step away from the kiddie-friendly PG crap. Who knows, maybe they will loosen up a bit, and we'll get to see some serious stuff soon. I can't even remember the last time I saw a chairshot on Raw. Nevermind to the head, but even to the back. When was the last time they destroyed the announcers' tables on TV?
And that actually surprised me, that Maddox didn't win. I was sure they would pull some lame crap with CM Punk or something. Even after, I thought they would overturn the decision and award the match to Maddox because Ryback beat his ass all the way back to the ambulance.
Overall, this was a good Raw. Better than the last few weeks. And is The Miz finally getting his overdue face turn? I've been cheering for him since he beat Cena at WMXXVII. Even if it was due to the Rock.

Hell in a Cell 1998 was on the King of the Ring set.
Also, having looked at the full list of contents, I've come to the decision that I must own this set.

Hell in a Cell 1998 was on the King of the Ring set.
And it was also on the HiaC set and Mick Foley's set as well, but I wouldn't have minded it be on this one, it's one of the signature moments of the Era.Also, having looked at the full list of contents, I've come to the decision that I must own this set.
Oh yeah, I'm definitely getting the Blu Ray, I don't wanna miss any of it. I was just bummed about the This is Your Life missing. I mean, I saw it live, and I remember it well, so it's not like I'm missing out, but still. It was a big moment and it should have been included.

My only problem with it is the fact that several things that I would have liked to see (the unholy union between Stephanie and the Undertaker in particular) are Blu-Ray exclusives only. While this might want me to finally buy one, I shouldn't feel I have to in order to get what is essentially the same content just because it has a few extra bits.
