All,

Every year, Carnegie Mellon University inducts four robots into it's Robot Hall of Fame. The inductees range from the conceptual, to the real, and even the fictional.

Welcome to the Robot Hall of Fame

The Robot Hall of Fame recognizes excellence in robotics technology worldwide and honors the fictional and real robots that have inspired and made breakthrough accomplishments in robotics. The Robot Hall of Fame was created by Carnegie Mellon University in April 2003 to call attention to the increasing contributions of robots to society.

My question is...to whom do we petition to get a Transformer considered for induction in 2013?

Don't get me wrong, R2D2 is great and all (2003 inductee) but has he ever fought for the rights of all sentient beings? Really. :BOT:

Never even knew of this.

My personal nominee would be Megatron, but if any are considered, it will be Optimus.

Optimus Prime, no doubt. He's an iconic hero to millions of kids; no one else in TF history has anywhere near that kind of fame, much less for as long as Optimus has.
