Just got back from the store, bought it brand new for PS3 because my PC isn't good enough. (I am aware of the problems Skyrim experiences on PS3, I choose to ignore them)
Unfortunately, as part of the Faustian deal I made to get it, I can't actually play it until Sunday. Still, though, I am more than excited to put buckets on people's heads and taking arrows to the knee.

Shadowman wrote:Last night, as I was just starting up Skyrim last night (I have altered the deal, pray I don't alter it any further) I told my dad that I had no intention of sleeping.
He thought I was joking.
I wasn't joking.
And so far it blows Oblivion out of the water.

Mind-blowingly awesome.BeastProwl wrote:Oh, and do you need to play the other elder scrolls to understand it in any way?
It couldn't hurt but it's not really needed. All you need to know is that, after Oblivion, the Empire no longer has a true Emperor, and is falling apart. The rest they'll explain in-game, and anything else you could just look up.
