As poor quality as it is (and it certainly is), it keeps raking in the big bucks regardless, which could very well be another nice paycheck in their pockets.

They're hardly impoverished and in need of a quick buck are they? It'd be a real surprise if a big name attached themselves to the franchise now, imo. I was taken aback when I read Mark Wahlberg has signed up!
The same could be said about the likes of Leonard Nimoy, Tony Todd, Hugo Weaving, John stinkin' Goodman(!), etc. Still can't believe we got John Goodman in Transformers.

Then again, also still can't believe with got Tim Curry and Mark Hamill in Transformers (even if in one of the cartoons rather than the movies).

Arguably they all got involved before the franchise turned into obvious ****.

So, since John Goodman was just in AoE, are you saying the franchise turning to obvious **** is still in the future? Or is it happening currently? Please explain as I am merely a piece of meat.

As a piece of meat you wouldn't understand the quantum physics. There are no meat based analogies that would make sense outside of the discovery of a new meat that tasted like **** but was packaged really attractively, coupled with an intelligent and aggressive advertising campaign. This future meat would also need a disgruntled but compliant online fanbase.

See? I bet you're stumped.

But all of the actors I listed (minus Hugo Weaving and Leonard Nimoy) came into the franchise (via the movies or cartoons) after 2007.

The budget doesn't even exist for that.

Exactly. For the life of me i can't understand how people who want a live action transformer movie 90% transformers and 10% humans can't figure this out. What's even more comical is to this day, no one can seem to respond to this either.

Well, here's your response:

If someone wants an 80-90% Transformer movie, and the budget doesn't exist to make that happen, that does not change the want on the part of the people who would like to see that.

That's actually been the response to this for years now. "I want a movie with 80-90% Transformers!"
"The budget doesn't exist for that!"
"Well, that doesn't somehow mean that I don't want to see the movies made that way."

It's been that answer for years. People don't like that answer, so they ignore it, and then claim that those in favor of a budget prohibitive movie 'can't' answer. But sticking fingers in your ears doesn't equal an inability to answer. The same for better acting, writing, directing, whatever. Just because a thing isn't doesn't mean people give up on wanting it to be.

Alittle late, but here's my response..

I understand that whether the budget exists or not, it doesn't stop people from wanting what they want. But that's not the discussion. Nor has it ever been an answer given in the past. You can want it all you want, but you can't fault the director or his team for not producing something that at this time, isn't financially feasible. And that's where the problem persist. You might as well ask your local airline to send you to the moon for the cost of a flight from San Francisco to Los Angeles. Maybe one day,.. But getting mad at Southwest for not being able to do it is stupid. So no, my fingers are not in my ears. I can hear just fine. :D But one can't ask for something that truly does not exist, and then put blame on someone for not producing said thing.

Problem is Boll (just like every director) had his chance to prove himself and never did. Every director starts at the bottom and moves there way up. Think of it like a football scholarship. you start at high school. You start playing well, you get noticed. You do really well, and you get free ride into college. You do fantastic, you get a ride in the NFL. Boll just never made it past high school.

Rampage was good, and as bad as Boll's movies are , they aren't abominations. RotF and Crap of the Moon were abominations. This movies are so bad that even video with 90-years old grandpa raping dead corpses of childred that died few months ago propably would be more fun. So yeah, for me DOTM was the worst movie ever.

No, I just put it there for decoration. Of course you can pm a person to abuse them instead of doing it on the forums.

WHAT DO YOU THINK? Of course it's a real rule. Brought on because some people actually do abuse their private messaging privileges.
