I'm really excited for The Thing prequel coming soon!

Love the John Carpenter movie so I can't wait for this.

Yeah, I saw it a couple of days ago, and it looks pretty scary. I also like Carpenter's movie, and this is a direct prequel. It's going to be good. And I think Mary Elizabeth Winstead is beautiful.

I would say that it looked pretty sinister, except the trailer gives away about half of the characters who have been replaced. The 'paranoia' aspect of not knowing who may be a host is what made the original Thing so scary. Sadly, this has been sacrificed for a more action packed trailer.

Why is it red band? I saw almost no blood. There was no swearing. The only think was that mildly suggestive comment about being 'cooped up with a bunch of Norwiegian guys.'

It shouldn't be red band.

I'm not sure if I'm sold on this. It looks way too similar to the first, and yes, I know this is a prequel. Same paranoia, same dog scenes, same scientists finding out what is causing the mutations.

I will see it eventually, once it is released on Netflix.
