I think I know how this season will end.
The farm becomes overrun with walkers, forcing Herschell's and Rick's groups to leave. This will eventually lead them to the jail.

HOLY CRAP, DALE!! Damn fool went and got himself killed, pay some freakin' attention in a zombie apocalypse, will ya! Everybody thank Carl for helping that walker get free of the mud. The meatbag would have been content to stand there groaning for eternity, but no, the wee little sheriff had to egg him on.
I can't believe Rick dragged out the lead-up to Randall's execution like that, and then didn't even do it. That was just torture, poor guy.
And I totally knew Randall would escape, as shown in the peak at next week.

I don't think the spoiler tags are necessary, it's not really a spoiler after it's aired.
That's a shame, I liked Dale. Judging from the preview for the next episode it looks like his death is going to restore some compassion in the rest of the group. It might be too late though. Randall probably thinks they're a bunch of sociopaths after they nearly executed him. I wonder if they could have let Randall join the group if they had treated him better? They saved his life after his buddies abandoned him, he might have been grateful for that and been willing to stay.

Well, I did not expect Dale to get chomped. I really didn't. Kinda dissappointed, I really liked Dale and I expected him to be safe as he's in the comics for a bloody long time.
I do reckon the farm will get over run, they can't hang around there forever, and eventually the producers will see the show is popular and so they may increase the budget for a jail.
Also kinda hoping Carl would man up and shoot that zombie in the mud. Carl in the comics is a lot cooler, but I suppose it wouldn't be very PC for tv Carl to do what comic Carl does - might be why they didn't have the "twins" in the series.

Yes! Shane is finally dead! And the non-bitten/scratched zombie side plot has emerged. However, Carl shooting Shan made the episode for me. I have no more demands for this show (except Michonne). I can die now.

HOLY ****!!!!! That season finale was FRIGGIN AWESOMETACULAR!!!!
*ahem*
Most pleased to see confirmation of one character for season three, and defintely exicted to see the prison in the distance.
Hoping now that the budget for season 3 is generous.

I was expecting more people die, especially Hershel. I'm really disliking Lori now, she knew how Shane was and now she's mad at Rick for killing him in self defense? I can't wait to see more of Michonne, even though that was leaked I was still jumping out of my seat and cackling like a mad scientist when she showed up.
It's going to be a long wait for season 3.

I literally stood up and screamed when Michonne showed up, o joke. That was the second-best episode of the series. I'm so happy it's going in the direction of the graphic novel now. The jail, Michonne, the Governor, Rick going crazy, Carl being the one to kill Shane, Lori not trusting Rick any more, people coming back as zombies even though they haven't been bit or scratched... what else do we need? Season 3 should be amazing. I'm counting the days.

Since nobody bothered to bump the old thread I'm making this.
So far I REALLY like the direction they're going with this season. They've changed things and accelerated things just enough so that people who've read the comics can't predict what's going to happen next. I must say the last episode was by far the best out of all of them so far.
But a word on the Governor, I absolutely HATE David Morrisey. That was probably the worst decision they could have possibly made. His voice is amazingly annoying and he doesn't have that sadistic quality the Governor had in the comics. The Governor is one of the craziest most insanely disgusting character of any story I've ever read and David Morrisey has taken that character and crapped all over it.
The new Carl, however, is fantastic. He was a whiney little bitch last year but he's honestly a badass this year. Rick too. He was awesome last year but he blows me away now.
R.I.P. Lori and T-Dog (even though I don't think Lori's dead).

How can Lori not be dead? I think the way Carl acted pretty much sealed the deal on her death. What would be gained by keeping her alive in secret? T-Dog went out like a boss! he's one of those characters you don't really notice until he's not there.

Lori's dead dude. She died giving birth to the baby and Carl put a bullet in her head so she doesn't turn. Has anybody played the game? I'm still waiting for episode 5 to come out. To be honest though, I haven't read the comic so this is all new to me. So what really blew my mind was that you don't need to be bitten by a zombie to turn. The bites just give you a lethal fever.

I get in trouble every time I do it even if it's for a legit reason so I'm not gonna bother.
And I though Lori might have survived considering how early in the season she died, but I guess we'll find out this sunday.

Nah bro. She's straight up D-E-D dead. The way they had the kid make the face of like sadness and anger, dead. My predictions? Rick's going to go crazier by the end of the season and eventually, more like an anti-hero. At some point, the group is going to want to get rid of him. I say Carl puts him down too and it eventually becomes a story about Carl faded from being about Rick.

There are certain exceptions, especially for tv shows as there's often 6-9 months between seasons.
Feel free to go find it, bump it up and i'll merge the topics.

I love the game. If episode 5 is good it just might be my new all time favorite game.
Is anyone else wondering what happened to Carol? My guess is she thought the prison was completely overrun and she went back to the farm to regroup with the others. Then she'll run into Merle and that will be how the Governor finds out about the prison.

I'm convinced Lori's dead, and won't be back. That's the great thing about this show, is that they're not afraid to kill off main characters. I agree that Rick is going to nuts, at least for awhile. I'm still not totally convinced about the trustworthiness of the 2 remaining inmates.

I have faith in Axel but the other guy seems unstable. Rick is definitely gonna go nuts, but if he gets even halfway to where he went in the comics, he'll be insane

Lori's dead. Dead as dead can be. Even if Carl didn't blow her brains out, you don't survive a butcher's C-section, in a dirty prision and all without real medical care.
But after being annoyed throughout most, if not all of season 2, I am incredibly impressed with what they're doing now. I do think its moving a little too fast, but I suppose they have better funding, maybe, and want to cram in as much as poossible to make up for the faffing about they did in S2. I'm lovin' what they're doing with Carl and he's starting to remind me of comic Carl.
I'm glad they introduced the concept of all infected, I didn't think thye'd pull that from the comics.
As for the governor? I suppose they don't want to make him too much like the comics because then it gives Michonne a reason to shove a spoon up his arse and scoop out his eyeball, and there's no way in hell they'd do that on tv.
It might not be perfect, but its a far sight better than S2.

I haven't read the comics, maybe that's why I'm not as harsh on the show as some other critics.

It's almost completely different from the comics at this point
