I always found Kick-Off to be a strange name for a TF. Was 'e a bit of a rowdy geezer then guvna? Always liked a bit argy-bargy? Or was he just into football? Hell, maybe both? Is Kick-Off the TF equivalent of Vinny Jones?

Blaster. Now I've heard and read that his Japanese name translates to Broadcast (and if I'm wrong I'm sure someone will point it out) and I have to admit I like that name better even Boombox for the G1 version would be better.


Blaster is a very dated reference that makes very little sense anymore. I think most kids now of days think of blasters as laser guns and that doesn't make any sense to an Autobot communications expert.

Nuh uh. Jazz was voiced like a fun-loving Black man (by an awesome Black man, no less). Blaster was voiced like an eccentric radio DJ.
