Things I picked up on at a second viewing of Age of Extinction (SPOILER WARNING)
Posted: Mon Jul 07, 2014 2:50 pmI liked it a little more the second time cause I was able to notice more things I didn't before. The following you might have saw the first time out, but for me it went right over me.
- When Optimus is being hoisted by Lockdown in his prisoner cell. Grimlock's robot face is clearly seen. I only saw a pair of red eyes very quickly the first viewing.
- The reason the creators were using transformuim from the seed at the beginning of the film was to create the first Cybertronians from the metal. I believe those were the Knights (Dinobots).
- The cute little Psittacosaurus at the beginning survives the Quintessons/creators attack with the seed. For how long after that remains a mystery.
- Optimus used his jet feet twice. Once to get Cade, Shane, Tessa out of Lockdown's grenades blast range. Second obviously when he leaves to go into space to find the creators.
- Audio from Ratchet's attack by the humans is used when Leadfoot's attack. I was like: "Since when does Leadfoot sound like Ratchet!" Lol.
- The Dinobots, after being freed by Optimus, retreat back into the Chinese forest where they were when they first met Optimus, Drift & Crosshairs.
- I think I saw the side of Starscream's head in the KSI lab. Could have been Megatron's, but the shape of the head and mouth looked too much like Screamer's.
- Finally noticed that Oreo bot in the KSI lab that was shot down! Can't believe I didn't see that the first time.
- Bumblebee, after killing Stinger, feeds his severed head to one of Strafe's heads.
- The garbage truck con is made up of not one, but three cons. Each a different color.
- There are 2 Shockwave clones. One is killed by Hound's bullet cigar, the other retreats with Galvatron.
- It looked as if other Cybertronians were being torn to scrap on Lockdown's ship by those Junkion goofy eyed bots.
There might be more stuff I forgot to mention, but that's all my noggin can remember right now.
