Well, If you take ROTF Mixmaster and re-arrange a few parts...

Problem solved! I Can easily see a coat of the right paint making this a perfect version of that quad-bot from the chicago scene in DOTM, or you can leave as is! It's a perfect fill in either way.
EDIT* OH! And RTS Deluxe Optimus Prime has a waiste swivel! It's little, and blocked by back kibble, but it's there!

Wow, do you think the actual film model is also a repositioned Mixmaster? in any case, the resemblance is striking, I can now rest easy if Hasbro doesn't make 'Cloverjolt', though it would be sweet if they did.

They aren't in the instructions. Look at step 17 in jet-to-robot section. You can see the gap where the fins are supposed to go.

@NatsumeRyu: the fins are INSIDE in jet mode, they're purely aesthetic for the robot mode.

Why couldn't the leader have them?

I'm confused by the little wheelguards/windows on DotM Deluxe Roadbuster.

The instructions don't show anything, the galleries on here don't show anything, but they can pivot and change position..

I've got the to overlap the wheel, allowing the rest of the arm/car door more freedom.

Any ideas?

Oh, that's just one of those liitle additions to the toy they always forget to mention. It's a nice touch, but I still like the Human Alliance version better.

on leader class sentinel prime there is a panel that flips out to complete the leg transformation. took me a while to figure that one out.

Is it on the inside of the legs below the wheel? Just noticed that. Helps to fill in gaps

I've found two things.

First, Cyberverse Hatchet can actually hold his weapons in his handclaws. I've got mine holding both of them in one hand currenty.

Second, you can acctually mount Scorponok on Cyberverse Blackout's back using that little peg between the rotor blades. Have to have his tail facing up to do it.

Yea I think so. I haven't transformed him in a while, but its a tab thats visible even in vehicle mode between the and "316"

you can combine the weapons. :3

HFTD Brawn's arms both have a "Hammer" Mode. no pics, sorry, but all you do is take his elbow kibble and re-arrange it like a shield in front of his fist. Instant hammer.

BB Prime's Hook's are removable. I'm guessing it's the same with the swords, but I'm not entirely sure... They're soft rubber, so Id'e be careful with either one...

Another one I keep forgetting. This one's a bit hard to explain, but you know WFC Bumblebee's pitiful little hand-gun? It's really sad when compared to his in-game model, or, at least the one you see him coupled with alot. you know what I mean.
ANYHOW, with that little hand-gun, and BB's arm kibble, you can re-create his mega charge up arm cannon thing (Shock cannon? I Keep forgetting the name! {Really Forgetful}) by turning the gun inward, and tilting the wheel facing forward to create the illusion of a massive cannon transforming out from his arm, like in the game. I'll post pics as soon as I can, but it probably wont be for a while...
so If someone can disect all that and do it themselves and post a pic, that'd be great! You guys get all that? I Hope it wasn't as complicated to understand as it was to explain

Isn't there a high risk that the connectors holes on the swords will crack or break, i own BB Prime myself and they are alarmingly thin near the arms.

I read recently that the best way to keep rubber malleable is to keep bending it. They are rather tricky to put back after removing them so I don't bother. Short answer to your question: I don't know.

Sidearm Sideswipe's guns fit well into DOTM deluxe Roadbuster's hands. You have to make sure the second little handle on the gun is fully open so that he gets a good grip on it.

I FOUND DOTM VOYAGER MEGATRON A SHOTGUN!!!
but it's really fiddly. Still a Boomstick though!
All you need to do is take Thunderhead's gun, and stick it into his hand. I'll post a picture when I can, but it works for display, and not much else.

What you do is wedge it in there, and then stick megatron's thumb in the hole in the side of the gun. He holds it firmly if you do it right. Just be careful! Sometimes it feels like his finger will break.

Human Alliance Pinpointer makes a great Targetmaster companion for RTS Prime:

Although not too fantastic, I have found many mechtech weapons that easily allow the weapons used for the basic HA class, which are the clip-ons. Sorry about no pictures, but here's a list.

Laserbeak's guns, both of them have a handle on the top which can allow a clip-on weapon easy.

On the back of Megatron's gun is what appears to be sort of a ladder, that area also allows clip-ons.

HA Roadbuster has the capability on on the machine guns on his shoulder, the gray part which sticks out.

On skyahmmers little machine guns there is protruding object looking like another missile a=or targeted, which also holds the weapons.

Ultimate Prime has two over either shoulder in power-up mode.

Leader sentinel Prime's railing supports the weapons, too.

That's all I've really cared for/found so far. Leadfooot has some possibility, but not much.

Well, I started changing up my figure's weps (that is, giving weapons to figures contrary to the ones they were sold with) to unlock a world of cool possibilites.
My personal favorite is Ultimate Optimus Prime with DOTM Voyager Prime's gun. I swear, it looks EXACTLY like his iconic "We will kill them all" scene.
