This is overdue and needs to happen!!!

So we got a rodimusprime toy from hasbro that was less than perfect and I believe it was I gear that came to our rescue with the warrior armor to make him look great.
Next we have the less than magnus ultramagnus that I gear made the god like city commander suit for and totally made him a figure worthy of the name ULTRAMAGNUS!
Why then dont they have an armor suit for our less than perfect (although I.M.O. underrated) galvatron figure?
I really, REALLY need a bulky voyager galvie. They did one for rodimus it only makes sense to do one for galvie!
That armor for rodimus makes him about voyager size correct?
Can you imagine having a voyager I gear galvatron to put next to the voyager I gear rodimus and classics voyager optimus and megs? DROOL!!!
Is there no hope for this? Will we ever get a classics voyager galvatron?

The armor for Rodimus (Hot Rod technically) by FansProject (not 'I gear' or iGear either) turned him into Rodimus Prime (who never received a Classics/Generations mold of his own).

For Galvatron, who only ever had one form (not counting Megatron if you go by the 86 movie), wouldn't really have any way of utilizing such armor that I can think of. He's a tank in his Classics alt mode. For Hot Rod to become Rodimus, it made sense, both because of how he turned into Rodimus in the 86 movie and because Rodimus Prime's alt mode is basically the front of his old 'Hot Rod' car mode attached to a large trailer turning him into what has been affectionately called his 'space winnebago' so the armor had a place to go in alt mode quite cleanly (it made up parts of the trailer itself).

I think we'll see either a Has/Tak Voyager (or larger) Galvatron or a complete third party Voyager or larger Galvatron before we ever see an add-on kit for the dinky little tank Classics Deluxe Galvatron.

I don't have the toy at my disposal right now, however, I don't think that particular incarnation of Galvatron is very adaptable to 3rd party kits. And how would the additional parts compliment his alt mode?

Nothing can save that Galvatron. I tried defending it for a long time, but then came to accept that thing would never be the Galvatron character. We need a new Voyager Galvatron. It's the only way.

I wasn't sure if I gear did hot rod or not. That's why I stated that I wasn't sure who made it. As for the actual non capitalization of the word I gear...... I'll never understand drawing attention to such trivial matters.
So anyway while I agree that it would be difficult to make armor for gal is I don't see why it would be more difficult than any other figure.
I also submit that they could use the armor to help make galvie transform into his proper G-1 alt mode cannon instead of the tank. Problem solved! :)
Having said that I would much rather has to make a new voyager galvie but I can't say I see it happening. The best bet ID say we have is getting an add on for an existing figure. That's why I thought on the armor app.
It was only a coinkie dink that dodo us had one too.
So u guys think it would bee possible to make use of the armor to create the cannon or no?

I'm sure it could be done, but I don't think it should be done and I don't think any 3rd party will actually do one. The 3rd parties have been making tons of figures of their own these days and I'm certain that Galvatron is on their list of figures that the fans want, so I'm certain they'll get around to it sooner or later (possibly once TFC, Maketoy, MMC and FansProject are done with combiners).

Never say never, but I think that efforts would be wasted on an upgrade kit. Just release a newer, larger version Galvatron. X-Transbots teased a whole new figure, Tyrant, which I believe has been cancelled. Oddly enough, there have been some pretty interesting add-on kits or customs using the WFC Megatron or TFPrime Megatron as a base figure for Galvy.

Also, as pointed out already - if there were an add-on kit for Classics/Henkei Galvatron, what would be the purpose for alt mode? Both Rodimus Prime and Ultra Magnus had trailers, but Galvatron was just a laser gun not a tank as the figure is made.

Just get the add on kit for WFC Megatron, the one from the guys who gave WFC Prime his matrix. Good stand in IMO. Or just get the rage over cybertron megatron, or the overly expensive Energon Galvatron maybe? If your willing to pay 3rd party prices, he could be an option, no?

Well as I said earlier I think they could use the armor to make him transform into his proper G1 cannon instead of a tank ya know?
I wasn't aware of an add on kit for war for cyber Meg's though. Sounds like it might be awesome if done right.
Is this out yet, who makes it and what of this matrix mr beast prowl spoke of?
Thanks guys!

EDIT: I just saw the add on kit to make prime Meg's galvatron and it looks great?
I'm just hoping it hasn't been painted yet right? Surely they didn't go through that trouble to leave the can on clear and torso/face black?
If you guys tell me it hasn't been painted yet I will first do a happy dance and second go buy a prime Meg's and eagerly await a release for the galvie upgrade. Still didn't find the upgrade for war for cyber Meg's though.

He may be referring to Dream Maker, they have released upgrade kits for both WFC Prime and Megs. Here's are links to reviews for both products, done by board member TJ Duckett:

Think you found Renderform's kit. These needed to be painted as they were part of a customization skills class, but I think they are all sold out (well, at least through A3U). I wanted to get one of these kits but missed out due to other financial obligations. If ever Renderform releases more, I'll have to prioritize. I think TF:P Megatron makes a great base for a Galvatron. You could also purchase the BBTS exclusive Dark Energon Megatron with the translucent purple as a decent stand in: http://www.bigbadtoystore.com/bbts/product.aspx?product=HAS22322&mode=retail

Hope you find what you are looking for.

You mean those upgrades were so severely limited that Theyre already sold out???!!! NOOOOO NO NO!! I so tire of having to buy third party over ebay for quadruple its retail value!! Why cant hasbro just do this think correctly so they can get our cash and not third party folks? I am tired of covating all this third party greatness because I cant justify spending all the inflated ebay prices ya know?
SIIIIIGH...Sometimes collecting makes me verry sad.

Renderform is a one-man show, casting everything himself. The nature of this release was limited because it was promoting a customization class. It's possible (not sure about probable) that the kit sees a larger run at some point and is offered directly through his site, but he's got a few other projects going on right now and I'm really not sure what the demand would make it worth his efforts to do another run.

If anything, you and I make 2 potential buyers. Until then, give that Dark Energon Megs a gander and consider him for a substitute. Maybe we'll all be treated to a new, official Galvatron release in the near future.

One guy made that galvie suit? Thats pretty amazing! Then to hear he has more projects in the works?
It kind of makes you wonder how one guy can offer us, although at a limited number, what noone else can including hasbro.
Hopefully I can get my hands on one at some point. It sure did look great didnt it? It wasnt even painted yet!
Ill look over the galvie you spoke of. Thanks bro.
