Just wanted to let you guys know that Dave has reissued a small batch of his Unicron stands: http://brownnoize.blogspot.com/2013/03/ ... redux.html

info on how to aquire them is at the link, at this time stock is very low and he is unsure if he will make another batch in the near future (do to communication issues with manufacturer and general headachiness).

These stands are fantastic, simple, sturdy, and elegant. i have 2 already and 3 more in the mail, soon all 5 of my Unicrons will be sitting comfortably.

Stands are $35 each +$10 S&H

Yeah must say I am very tempted by this, it is by far the best way to display unicron. Decisions... food for a week or this? I guess I can eat when I'm dead

I highly recommend it too. I got one from Dave, myself, and I love seeing the big guy in planet mode sitting there.

I concur, this stand definitely helps Unicron as a focal point in your display.

I'd definitely say that this stand is absolutely a necessity to anyone who owns any version of this Unicron mold, and wishes to display it in planet mode.

Here's a few pics (most from my Unicron review) to help sell you on it:

(I use DVD cases in my reviews to provide a sense of scale, as I figure most people know how big one is.)

Yay! this arrived yesterday! Had to pay customs charges though, boo! Still, I kind of got used to pot noodles in the end. Will be strange to be back on real food.
