Do you collect other toys besides Transformers? Maybe you've got a Masters of the Universe collection you'd like to show off, or maybe you like Thundercats, Voltron, G.I.Joe, Power Rangers, Star Wars, Wrestling, or any of the various comic book toy lines. Please keep the discussions here to non-Transformers toy lines.

With the new toy line and new Cartoon out I thought there should be a Thundercats thread.
With that being said...Anyone going to collect the new figs? If so Has anyone found any yet and if so what stores? I've been looking but haven't seen the first one yet at retail. I am looking for the new "classic" figures, of which they are only doing Lion o and Tygra so far, but I haven't found em yet. I have also been collecting the original figures kinda off and on for several years now but just recently started trying to aquire more in the last couple of weeks.

Found the whole line of the 'new' Thundercats toys at my local TRU. I picked up the 4" Cheetara, but I can't say I'm thrilled.
She's got three swivel joints in her first quarter-inch of thigh, no wrist joints at all, or ankle joints. She's also got exposed shoulder rivets and sub-par paint apps on her limbs. My personal Cheetara also came out of the package with bent ankles, which wouldn't matter much if she came with a stand.
Also, she's got a huge F%@king magnet sticking out of her back and through her hair. Her head can't turn, though, so it doesn't make much difference there.

Man that is disappointing. I expect better from ban dai. Maybe the 6" figs will be less gimmicky. I myself would probably prefer the 6" figures but I still haven't seen any.

I am really holding out for the Classics figs too. Toys r Us online has all the figures listed but of course the Classic Lion o and Tygra are out of stock. I saw Tygra in stock on line the other day but I am hoping to just get them at reatail. Kmarts website also has the new figures listed but no classics that I saw. And last i checked Wal Mart had nothing listed at all. Those are the three retailers Ban Dai has listed on their site for where to buy all the new toys but i'm assuming they'll be available everywhere sooner or later.

Finally seeing what they look like got rid of all my excitement for them.
I'm sad now.

The 6-inch stuff looks a little better, but yeah, I can't help but wish that someone like Mattel was handling the toys instead of Bandai.

Can we get Kotobukiys to release Play Arts kai Thundercats? That would be epic.
The Play Arts Kai line is the only one that can do this right.
