it's not my idea but I guess that is what most people use to tighten it up.. only apply a thin layer at first and make sure it doesn't drip to much.. If you overdue it you never know where that stuff ends up so it's better to apply it gently and properly dry it.
DON'T use a hairdryer or something because you don't want your joints to stick but the feet to melt...

Wouldn't that wear down the polish coat too easily? What I've done is just let it dry completely before I even reassemble to joint.
