TIME: ROTF Worst Summer Film Ever

Michael Bay's Revenge of the Fallen is still receiving accolades from the press, even two years after being released. Time Magazine just created a list of the Top 20 Worst Summer Blockbusters ever. Leading the list in first place is Revenge of The Fallen, beating out even The Phantom Menace. Dark Of The Moon also made the list in a respectable spot at #16. See the list for yourself here.

They just don't get it. ROTF is not THAT bad. If you cut out all the trashy humor you have a pretty great film if you ask me. DOTM is absolutely amazing in my opinion but I am speaking from a Transformers fan perspective. But I have definitely seen FAR worse summer blockbusters and far worse films altogether than the Transformers films. It just seems to be popular right now for the "mainstream" media/reviewers to bash these films.

Conviction doesn't really come across well on message boards as I wasn't being sarcastic. If anything, I was celebrating the vitriol aimed at DOTM and ROTF from Time Magazine, the snobbiest, most elitist cowboy-journalist-rag excuse for a populist magazine in Western history.

I'm starting to wonder how bland the world would be if the critics received every movie they've ever desired. I'm betting it would be all arthouse bullcrap that makes you snooze because they studied the the study of the human condition and man's inhumanity to man, starring Mickey Rourke, Lance Henriksen, etc. You get the idea.

Or, they could live in the real world and enjoy movies like the rest of us.
