I called Hasbro a few minutes ago and told them, about the Titanium 3 inch problem, they claimed to not have received any complaints.

The representative said that he would contact me when they found out about the issue, I told them that this may be a big issue costing them sales of the fans that want to purchase them.

I told them of various Targets that seem to be overladen with them I think due to the base issue. The employ said he would put it on the Target E-board because he was unaware of the issue and had told me the guy in electronics had pointed out the initial Titanium price swap to them.

I know many of you planned not to pick them up but for the ones that do, is this the big issue why you are not getting them as well?

I know it is for me when I buy a $4 dollar display piece I want all the parts to be correct, thanks just wondering what you guys think.

I've never heard of a base issue with the Titaniums. Sure pegged bases would be awesome, but I didn't really think it was necessary for most of the Titanium figures. I didn't even realize it was a significant complaint.

That is the problem Devastator, the problem is so rampant that most of the bases in the stores do not even have the peg, so unless you cought it back when they first were out then you would never know they had them.

I am not upset but this post does primarily talk about the 3 incher issue not whether or not 6 incher pegs would be dandy.

Well I think it would be much better to have the feet "imprints in the base with pegs so the toy would be anchored, or have multiple pegs for a range of poses.

Easy fix... A drill, a plexiglass rod and some glue.

I have not come accross any pegless bases yet. We must still have old stuff here.

Really>?

OdeeanRDeathshead do they still only have BW Megatron and Sideswipe? Those are the only ones I have seen with the pegs, My BW Primal I had to get some lady at Target to switch the bases with a Sideswipe I had returned that night.

I checked Kmart today and they had new stock. SideSwipe, Jaz, Cybertron Megatron, G1 Starscream, Beast Primal and the Ark. They all had no pegs on the base and the packaging was different colour to the ones I has seen previously. I can't afford to collect these but the Jaz (or is it meizer) looked like the best so far.

Kmart also had bendy prime and demolisher repaints, I bought bendy. I am lucky because I live in the centre of a 2km circle that has 2 Targets, 2 Kmarts, ToysRUs and a Big W. Its normally easy to find stuff if its out. The repaint of Armada Prime had the also available for unicron on the back :D :D :D

I bought jaz. The peg is non existant - its like it was never even in the mold. How can that be. If the mold broke there should be at least a blemish on the base, but it is smooth all over. I also found 6 inch war within optimus at toysrus at $30Aud. I did not get megatron because it looks ****. My Optimus has very sloppy paint applications and the eye colour had even been smeared over other parts of the face. I think the die cast in it is aluminium not steel. Why can't the paint be done like the origional die cast toys (ie shiny) this matt paint they use comes very patchy. IMO titanium are good in conception but lacking in the follow through.

I agree. The stores are finaly starting to carry the titaniums so I got a good look at them and was very disapointed in all of them. I might pick them up WHEN they go in the clearance racks but not before!

I got Smokescreen the other day, 2 actually repainting him into Silverstreak. He looks very nice, makes me sad I sold my old alternators version I did buy the TRU clearanced Riccochet though. I do like the mold a lot more since getting the small one.
