Takara Tomy Transformers Cloud - Chapter 3 Ends

Last we saw of Takara Tomy's Transformers Cloud storyline, we had some teasing allusions to the inclusion of more toys into the exclusive repaint/repurpose line. The Takara Tomy website has of course been updated fairly regularly with new installments of the story itself, though all in Japanese, including new artwork by Nagi Miyako - and another chapter recently went up! Check out a recap of all the images below, featuring Generations toys from Perceptor to Bruticus, and the Beast Wars cast, as Shockwave (a redeco of Whirl) battles Rodimus (a redeco of Springer) and head here for the text!

And to my disappointment no teasers for the next Decepticon Cloud figure. The Autobot one has been teased as Beast Hunters Ultra Magnus but who will be his adversary?

What's goin' on with Shockwave and Bruticus in that second-to-last picture?

Bruticus is wielding Shockwave in a gun mode (a la "The Revenge of Bruticus"), but which cannot be achieved with the actual toys.

Shockwave is showcasing his fourth mode: an artillery cannon which is just a reversed Gerwalk mode. Bruticus wields him akin to a scene in the G1 cartoon, except he does so willingly.

So this is like Sixshot's "Wingwolf" mode, Ovelord's combined jet mode, or Black Zarak's "Daikatsu" (sp?) mode, then? Something made up for the fiction by fiddling around with the toy, but is (probably) not in the instructions?

Generations Nightbeat totally looks like the Masterforce headmaster jrs.... I'm surprised the repaints haven't happened by now.

We haven't seen Shockwave's instructions yet, but if that mode's in it, it's truly official. Those are official pics btw.

this person can't even TRY to get the figure transformed correctly? every picture they post looks like a picture of a figure that was just pulled out of a box at a garage sale.

I'm sure he doesn't care. It's what he's known for now. Early toys and bad transformations. Don't understand why people are so offended by it.

huh, looks like they abandoned the idea of having ShockWhirl's claws and weapons cast in translucent purple. That's a little disappointing.
