Why are the cloud molds so much? That makes no sense to me.
I have been into transformers since 1984.
While I love G1 I also love new innovations and takes on the characters.
I prefer official Hasbro releases of stuff for the most part
I'm not a huge fan of Japanese original Transformers media or designs.
It's easier for me to say which are my LEAST favorite toy lines: Beast Machines, Robots in Disguise.

I just stick with TFP shockwave for my classics until a real shockwave comes out. MP bumblebee is all wrong for MP scale by cartoon standards, but might work well for classics if its the same height as an igear scout figure. But why did they have to give it that stupid fake car window in robot mode ? I would rather it have been a hatch like the classics figure. Magnus looks good. I can see all those people who bought KFC Citizen Stack bitch slapping themselves in frustration. And Im calling it...KO Marlboor Wheeljack (Takara is too sissy to promote cigarettes, even in a line meant for adult collectors)

What fake car window on bumblebee are you talking about?

The one located right under his neck in robot mode. Its obviously not the front or rear window of the beetle. Its a fake window.

Looking closely at Wheeljack and Bumblebee, it appears the sideview mirrors are removable. In bot mode Jackie has lost his little leg mirrors and Bee lost his hip kibble.

Not feeling MP Bee at all, the problem, with it is the alt mode accuracy, had they gone down the penny racer route I feel they could have produced a much better robot mode. Also he looks too kibbly for a masterpiece, hollow forearms with ugly panels hanging off them, huge backpack with unnecessary spare wheel and the doors visible on the inside of the legs. And as for UM, well I know we've all put on a few pounds since the 80's but he is far too bulky, so glad i didn't get bitten by the MP bug.

Trying to decide how much I like Shockwave... I like it a lot, but the only thing that detracts me is that he's got Whirl's claws. I guess I can pretend it's post-empurata/Shadowplay but pre-Decepticon, but... I dunno, there's just something odd about it. I'll wait until we get some in-hand images before deciding.

Rodimus is kickass, but needs a winnebago mode. Not that I was going to get him anyway: the Reveal the Shield redeco of Classics Rodimus satisfies me just right.

MP Ultra Magnus looks alright... but I'm with Burn when I say that I'm disappointed that he's not a white Optimus Prime wearing armor. That's partly what made Ultra Magnus so cool. :-(

EVA Optimus Prime looks okay. Can't really say much about him, since I know little to nothing about the series he's supposed to reference.
They call me “Tanker Chungus”!

I never said I didn't like him. I do like the figure. I said he doesn't work as Shockwave. I may get him, but $100 is pushing it... time will tell.

Bee is slightly mis-transformed in the last pic. The arm panels are supposed to be folded to the back of the arms, and the Autobot symbol is supposed to be visible in robot mode.

That still doesn't fix his hollow arm, its a Masterpiece figure, the clue is in the title, it is supposed to look perfect in both modes, and frankly he doesn't.

Because he had it on his back in the cartoon:

And it's not like the tire doesn't go anywhere in altmode:

Rember to join the Masterpiece Wheeljack, Bumblebee and Ultra Magnus discussions in their respective threads! The mirrored images below are courtesy of site sponsor Kapow! Toys, check out some close-ups of the three upcoming MP bots. Too bad that toy show is all the way to Tokyo. Otherwise I would sneak in there like a ninja and rob them blind.

And then put the prototypes up for auction on E-bay hehe

SO nobody is going to mention that it's clearly the MP Star Saber prototype under magnus down there?

Also on some other TF site that won't be named, there is a clear shot of Star Saber with a sign that CLEARLY shows 'no pictures'. LOL.
