G23 looks absolutely stunning! =P~ Why did it have to be the Ultimate class figure. It's going to be so expensive. At least I'll be saving some money not getting G09. I know it's a small picture, but does it look like 'Abominus' has a unique weapon?

And its name has finally been figured out. Its name is "Dragotron Final Form". 8)

It's the wings of the Windrazor mold at an angle.

All of my jealousy! I was hoping Hasbro would do the Monstructor homage with the giftset, but that obviously didn't happen. XD I'm glad Takara is doing it, not that I'll be able to justify the price of it.

In other news, Takara's version of BH Ratchet has upgraded from "Mishmash Homage" to "Homage Trainwreck." Prime Ratchet is molded like BW Dinobot II with BW Dinobot's drill shield/weapon and is now deco'd like Movie Ratchet.

I honestly don't see any Monstructor-ness in Gōradora's deco. I mean, sure, he's multicolored, but I don't see much a pattern that I'd recognizably see as a Monstructor-esque deco. :|

Someone on another board suggested Dinoking colors, but the legs throw that one off as well.

It might just be an original deco.

Looks like both the EM Gokin 08 Mugen Calibur and the EM Alloy 01 Mugen Calibur, made by Art Storm, of Special Armored Battalion Dorvack, are getting released in G1 Roadbuster colors.

The CyberGundam blog has posted a couple of additional images from the Tokyo Toy Show that reveal Art Storm's Super Deformed EM Gokin 08 Mugen Calibur and the non-transforming EM Alloy 01 Mugen Calibur will be getting Roadbuster repaints!

Super Deformed EM Gokin 08 Mugen Calibur is scheduled for release in February of next year priced at 5,040 yen (approx $53 USD), and EM Alloy 01 Mugen Calibur is scheduled for a December of this year priced at 7,329 yen (approx $78 USD).

Nice. A reissue would be even nicer.

Non-transforming? Darn, I had my hopes up when I first saw that picture.

That sort of bummer should have been up in the title.

An actual transforming version does exist (and I do mean a modern day toy rather than the original), but there's been no word of it getting the same treatment here yet.

He's like... orange and red and tan or something, right?

Something like that, I think, yes. Though, less red, more yellow, IIRC.

Look for Brave Gokin Mugen Calibur. He comes in two decos: yellow and tan with grey, and grey and tan which is the Miyazawa mokei version.

Don't, don't get that. I had a bit of a melt down a long while ago trying to find the perfect Roadbuster for my Classics, and checked on a lot of possibilities and they're all really, really bad.
Be it awkward design, bad articulation, crappy materials, way too expensive for what it is, or in the case of the one you mean all of it in one. Plus it's too big for Classics and too small for MP.

The best of the bunch is the non-transforming one here, best materials, best articulation, best design, and best accessories.
Really the worst thing about it is that it doesn't transform, but it looks like it could which is good enough for a robot-mode display.

Honest question, since I don't know.

No, you didn't miss anything. I'm just throwing in since it TToy event. Also because there was rumor of MP20 might be Mirage, Megatron v2, Galvatron, UM v2, etc.

On a somewhat related note, are there any big presentations during this event? Or is it a bunch of TFs on tables that no one seems to want to take pictures of?

The tweets are coming in from Takara Tomy's Transformers presentation at the Tokyo Toy Show, and the next Masterpiece figure has been revealed as MP-12G G2 Sideswipe! A black version of the MP-12 Lambor mold with brand new weapons. Images mirrored below from the twitter accounts of @GENgoraw and @ripetakobozu:

One of the tweets mentions that MP20 might be a car license and then later that there might be a possible vote from different Convoys
