I will not lie, the repaints are a bit much, i mean i can't quite handle the "i'm a bad ass, now i got a new paint job, i'm a BIGGER bad ass!" and there is truth in the fact that armada megs shoulda made the jump to energonm galvatron, the comic tried to do that as opposed to the cartoon. and as far as sound effects cards goes, i actually liked armada over load, for the simple fact that he was the first transformer to make the transformation sound, i mean, yeah after there was all the energon characters but hey overload, and roll out are the first rookies to have it, they take major kudos from me.

In all actuality, imo, the Beast Changer does count as a Megatron. Just only half way... I mean... They did make him into his own character... Kind of. He was more like the Maximal's pet dog in the end. :\ Kinda get that "Old Yeller" feel between him and Nightscream...

Other than that, though, he is yet another Megs.
