I recently did a top 10 movies forum, now i decided to do this one. PS: I did PS2 games, cuz I could really use more PS2 games for my NEW PS2, Ive been saving up for years for that thing! And they dont have to be PS2 exclusives either. Here are mine:

1.Sly 3 (favorite game of all time)- I love how you can explore the enviroments and this game has some of THE BEST special powerups that you can use with your cane!

2.Timesplitters Future Perfect- I just love the way the blood looks in this game! I play it all the time! Plus, the arcade mode is super frekkn fun!
(2 and 3 are actually tied in terms of AWSUMness)

3.Sly 2- Some of the best story missions i have ever played, but Sly 3 has better powerups, and gameplay over all

4.Spiderman 2- First free roam SM game, plus you can play with the dead bodies!

5.Transformers (first movie game. I only played it for PS3, but I would think that theyre similar)- I just put this here cuz I couldnt really think of any other games

Fail those are pretty poopy games safe for SM2.

The Transformers Armada game is better than any TF game that came after it WFC looks like it'll be better than it is though.

5. Transformers Armada - when a reviewer says it's like Halo just for Plastation 2 that must mean it's good after all Halo is considered one fo the best games of the decade.

4. Legacy of Kain Soul Reaver2 - SR 1 is better but SR 2 is still pretty good and a lot better than Defiance as usual for this series: grate story, grate graphics, grate gameplay, brilliant soundtrack, grate voice cast excellent story.

3. Peter Jackson's King Kong: the Game - While it's a game based and released as a movie tie-in it's still a brilliant game and actually suffers from the "movie game image" it's pretty innovative the only downside is that it's a little too short and you wished it went on for longer due to how good it is.

2. Devil May Cry series - (Yea this is kinda cheating as there are 4 games in this but what ever) innovative gameplay, revolutionized the action genre, grate soundtrack good story.

1. God of War series - (Again kinda cheating as it's two games but still) Grate graphics, innovative gameplay, revolutionized gaming as a whole (Blame it for Quiktime events), grate voice acting, grate story, brilliant soundtrack and a brilliant execution.

I never played the Armarda game, I remember playing it once at a friends house, but i only remember that you could destroy your minicons in various ways!

Somehow im suprised Im not the only one who put down Sly! I like Sly 2's story mode, but Sly 3s Special attacks and replay value make it my favorite

Also GTA 4 never came out on PS2.

I'm very biased because I didn't have that many games, but;

GTA Vice City - GTA3 did alot for open sandbox play, but Vice City was amazing, improved everything, especially love the tank.

GTA San Andreas - Best GTA game I can think of, huge map, loads of customization.

GT3 ASpec - the premier racing game until GT4 came out.

Disgaea: Hour of Darkness - I spent well over 60-80 hours on this RPG, great story, funny characters

Smackdown: Shut Your Mouth - Sucka for wrestling games, this I believe was 2 games before they switched it over to stupid Smackdown vs. Raw.

1. Transformers (2004 Atari Game)-Best game Eva.
2. Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance-Fun RPG
3. Sega Genesis Collection-Has Sonic 2, Altered Beast, Phantasy Star II-IV, Golden Axe I-III, Vectorman 1 & 2, Virtua Fighter 2, etc, etc.
4. Shadow the Hedgehog-Possibly the best modern Sonic game
5. Sonic Riders: Zero Gravity-Another possibility for best modern Sonic Game

In no particular order:

1 - Persona 3 FES
2 - Persona 4
3 - Disgaea
4 - The Xenosaga Series
5 - Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne

Ok. For action, I like Megaman games if you like the 2-D style, Megaman X: Command Mission if you like 3-D and more of a pokemon-ish, turn-based style, 007: From Russia With Love (it's still a shooter, but it's more of a 3rd person game, and it's not like most others). As for shooters, some of my favorites for PS2 are Star Wars Battlefront (best sci-fi shooter I know of), Call of Duty 2: Big Red 1 (if you don't mind blood and all that), 007: Nightfire, and Goldeneye: Rogue Agent.
If you have any questions about a game that's not very popular, let me know, because I've tried it.

Hahaha, ok. If you wanna find out more about them I recommend gamespot.com (they have good gameplay images, cheats, and anything else)

5-disgia 2: cursed memories: it had almost nothing to do with #1, but it was better in every way. WE CHALLENGE YOU TO, BOWLING DOOD!

4-Jak 2: BEST. FREE-ROAM. EVAR.

3-DBZ budokai tenciechi 3: nice fighter, and omega shenron pwns all!

2-Shadow of the collosus: this game has not only some good boss fights, but the single most epic soundtrack ever made.

1-Kingdom hearts 2: im shocked that no one else included this grand RPG. the single best game i have ever played.
