Okay, as we all know the stig in black was lost to the sea on that carrier.

I'm very curious as to who you guys think Lord Stig is?
At one point I thought it could be Hammond, as they both seem to drive in the same way, but that idea was made void quite recently.

Who do you think the new stig is behind the helmet?

Well, the first Stig was killed off because Perry McCarthy revealed in his autobiography that it was him.
The white stig is rumoured not to be just one man, prob a group of 3 or 4 young drivers in lower formulas. That way someone is always avaliable.

Everything is in here, even the Stig's rather large American cousin, who appeared in (my view) the best episode they've ever done

Did anyone catch last Sunday's programme. Loved the bit with the tractors!! And this week they're apparently having a go at making stretch limos. If the results are anything like the aquatic vehicles they made last year it should be hilarious!!!

Anyone notice how Top Gear (which is esentially a motoring show) is the funniest thing on telly, much much funnier then any of the supposed comedies?

oh yeah (well maybe not mighty boosh or spaced)

also do you notice how it has severly departed from the origanal format of 30 mins of tgest driving any and all cars.
as i keep saying to people, " m not a big car fan but i am a big top gear fan"

Top Gear is essential to life. The best thing on any tv channel. That and Everybody loves Raymond!

I loved Hammond's tractor. Really was like a tank. And wouldn't definetly make a mean transformer.

CAPTAIN SLOW RULES!

Random bit of useless info #462752:

James May used to go to the same school as me (albeit a few years beforehand), and Jeremy Clarkson used to work for our local newspaper...

GOGO CAPTAIN SLOW!!!

They are brilliant sigs!

And wow, that's some random but interesting information. Didn't know slow and Jezza were born in the same area?

Not quite, James May was born in Bristol, but moved up here later. Clarkson was born in Doncaster, just a few miles away from me... :)

Some say that he only drives cars without doors.

All we know, is that the Stig rules.

My roommate watches (well, downloads since we're in the USA) this show. I loved the episode where they tried to launch the Robin into space!

Yeah, it was sooooo almost there. Just one teeny tiny malfunction.

And yeah, it made me laugh when he almost fell out of the tractor's door. And trust Jezza to try and tow a jumbo jet.

Oh my! I never knew there were so many Top Gear fans here! Cool!

I've watched the show religiously for several series now and have a couple of dvds. It's definitely the best thing to watch at the weekend! Actually, it's the best thing on terrestrial tv since no terrestrial channels air any Transformers cartoons!

I think the Stig could probably give the Stunticons a run for their money... crossover anyone?? :P

I personally love the big races they've had, the DB9, the 612 Scaglietti, the Mclaren SLR, and the Bugatti Veyron. I also think that the daft contests to find the best second hand cars have been funny as well!

I love the veyron. And the new Mustang looks nice. The one with the 'stone-age suspension' though. Just so much cooler looking.

I was flicking through the terristrial channels recently. Saw the stig racing a loft bed strapped to a jet engine. It went at 70 mph.

cool.
