What's the particular reason for the Chinese boycott?

I couldnt be happier about this news. I am so glad that companies like Hasbro are recognizing the fact that you can go back to larger scale bases and vehicles marketed to the adult collectors that remember the collector hay day that was the 80's, which brought us toys like G1 Metroplex, Fortress Maximus, the Cobra Terror Drome and the USS Flagg. I knew after Comic Con 2012 and Hasbro's exclusive Avenger's Helicarrier that if sales were good we would see more releases like this stateside that played on our generation's nostalgia. He'll be a great addition to my FOC collection which as of tomorrow will include the Year of the Snake Omega Supreme. Way to go Hasbro. Shut up and take my $! Til all are one. :BOT:

I love the way Metroplex looks and his articulation appears to be pretty good (arms, head, fingers). I saw him close up yesterday. They wouldn't let me hold him, but he had a lot of nice detail in the chest and head area. His robot mode is bad ass, but I'm not a huge fan of his alt modes.

I'd love to get him, but my wife would kill me. I've started referring to him as "Alimony Prime" with my friends.

A pinch won't be good enough. I can't take any chances I'm dreaming. Somebody stab me immediately! :BOOM:

This thing is f***ing epic! :KREMZEEK: Good things really do come to those who wait. We've had a little over a year of smaller figures, thinner plastic, gimmicky weapons, and non-released characters, and I have to say I think it's all been worth it.

You promised us something big for next year Hasbro, and I, like others, didn't believe you. How happy I am to be wrong. THANK YOU!!!!!

Oh!! He's got a flip-down visor and tiny Optimus painted on his bridge!! Such goodness!!! I am :x

Erm... last I checked, most 3rd party products were made in China... :???:

Anyone on here want to buy it for me so I can buy it from you? I'll give you an extra $25 for it. I try not to purchase anything made in China that isn't an essential item for a family/home to have. So if I buy it 3rd party, I get my toy, the money goes to you and my conscience is clear.

I think he meant not buying directly from the store. Which doesn't make sense: no matter who the middle men are (basically any reseller), they're still made in China. Speaking of which, does anybody know if all production has moved to that new location?
Top 5 Priorities:

1) BW Neo X-7 Elphaorpha
2) BW II VS-18 Powerhug vs. Autocrusher
3) Universe 2003 Night Slash Cheetor
4) RiD Landfill (regular, not the yellow)
5) BW Convobat (red) & Megalligator (purple)

Also looking for any clear Arms Microns, like Shadow (Gora & R.A.), Hellflame and Shining (O.P. and R.A.).

Preparing to move to the US!

Are you talking about the production location for Hasbro and Takara in the future? I was surprised to see that MP Soundwave has China stamped on it. I thought Takara had already moved out of China, but I guess not. I had heard developments to move production to Thailand or Vietnam. But I don't know where they are in that process or if the deal fell through.

Looks anorexic.

And very very hollow.

This is Sabrblade we're talking about. His ability to store trivial information about TV shows is downright superhuman.

yeah, his legs are very hollow but hope they will peg together well. Is there more to him that is not presently shown? He seems a little bland for his size.
