People had been screaming for years for proper triple changers. They got Octane and Astrotrain.

But that wasn't enough, so people kept screaming for the others. Now they've given us Springer and Blitzwing.

How much louder do we have to scream for a Ultra Magnus that combines with his trailer? GAH!

I still fully expect Takara to do one right in the MP line, using MP-10 in white which combines with a new trailer.

We can only dream. :-(

I own the Arms Micron version of this mold and quite like it. It isn't without its faults, by any means, but it is nice to have an almost-Leader sized Prime. The Weaponizer gimick can look decent if posed properly too. I am actually exicted about this Ultra Magnus as I think he will look great next to Prime.

BTW, those shoulders are definetely mis-transformed. They should sit lower on the arm. You can see this on pics of the back of the box. The only thing I don't like is the light blue face. I am not sure why they did that.

Well, we wanted a Magnus with the tall shoulders, and by god have we got it. 8-} I didn't bother with the Weaponizer Optimus, but this one may look good next to the new Beast Hunters figures. I think vehicle mode may well be the biggest deciding factor. Very intrigued as to what that looks like.

Poor guy still can't catch a break.

The Prid, powerizer version of him is quite good... anyone wanting a new UM get that one he is good. He also fits good with classics Kup, and I know he will go good with Springer...

After reviewing the toy and video, I think you are right about the mistransformed shoulder post. That would certainly make it looks a lot better. I also agree with the horrible blue face. Hopefully the finish product has white face like the box art and BH UM.

AWWW MAN! I had high hopes for this figure when I saw the completely unpainted mold. Hasbro has never done magnus correctly. They always muck it up.
Weather it be the paint apps, size,or the entire look of the thing. They almost had it with FOC magnus, alas he is so tiny I cannot think of him as magnus. I will be purchasing him incase the add on comes to fruition, butg will not display him without it.
I wonder why they couldnt have at least painted this guy right and given him an authentic magnus head sculpt? That would probably have sold it for me.
A proper G-1-Magnus must be difficult to do. I just cant see hasbro not giving us a G-1- magnus figure this far into the classics revival without a good reason at this point. Perhaps they cant figure out how to do it? I.D.K.
