Well, given that the Optimus version didn't sell super well, why use this mold for the Platinum edition? I mean, sure, go ahead and use it for Beast Hunters line, but BH =/= Classics.

That is where you're wrong, RAcast. The Classics line and it's spawns were not to strictly cover G1. They've made toys for other continuities as well. And the Generations line, a Classics spawn, is continuing the tradition. This Ultra Magnus is for the Prime portion of Generations. So Beast Hunters can = Classics, just as Beast Wars, Cybertron, and Animated, Armada, and beyond have in the past.

Fair enough, fair enough. It's still weird though, to have a -current- character in the 'flashback' line, if you will. Particularly when that character's line is currently running, and would make much more sense to be in that line, buuut whatever. What is, is.

Intrigued. Not sold yet, but intrigued. I still want to seea titanium style integrated Maggy. Could care less about the little bot, because we never actually see him. Never touch weaponizer prime, but this may be the way i go.
