Menasor, not Motormaster, but it is meant to be the latter.

All of Legends Wave 2 (Menasor, Bumblebee, Whirl, Jetfire) is missing - are they in stores? I haven't noticed.

How are we about packaging varients? As 83457W422102 and I know all too well, Canada gets boned on 6" Titanium packaging. Before, it all came in Megatrons box, but now it comes in Classics style packaging. I'm aware that it isn't a new figure or anything like that, but should differnt box types be added as well.

Slings and Arrows welcomed.

Hold up, they come in Classics packaging now? Damn. I haven't seen any past Scourge, Thundercracker and OpOp in Quebec yet. I'll go scouting today and see if I can find some of them new boxes.

I've asked some of the guys in the Canadian Sightings thread for pics, as I can't get to a TRU like I use to. As far as I know, RID Prime and Screamer come in the new packaging.

Ryan, I was looking for Swoop and the other G1 Dinobots and I couldn't find them. I know you must have them some where. What category do you have them under?

Why would you want to put them in the sightings page? Unless you mean the KO swoop floating around on eBay?

Oops...

I misread the title of the thread. I was thinking that this was Ryan's thread asking which toy gallery should be done next. :P

When I was looking in the toy section, I noticed the Dinobots weren't there. Sorry for being off topic.

No biggie, you just misread the topic is all. I wouldn't mind seeing the Dinobots get Ryans treatment in his galleries.

I asked Ryan about that in the old Gallery thread and he said he was waiting until he got all of the G2 Dinobots before he did the galleries.

Hi,

I'm not familiar with how difficult making a website is and all. However, I owuld love a search function with the sightings which could let us sort by state and then by a date range. Thus I could see all that is currently in my area. I twould make the function a lot more user friendly imo.

Ofcourse, as I said, I do not know how complicated this would be. Just an idea.

Seibs and the rest of the Mods have discussed this before and it is one of the many many upgrades we plan on doing to the site in the future. I personally push the hell out of the sightings section, so I too have a "bigger and brighter" ideas for the sightings section. I would like to see the same things you have mentioned along with a graph of what was sighted and by who and how many sightings each user has posted. Perhaps also a sort of "estimate generator" that would let fans get a rough idea of when the newest figures might be arriving based on a sightings formula. Again, all nice ideas, just needs time to cook.

As for sightings, I wouldn't mind seeing WW Megatron and G1 Magnus in there for the Titaniums, as I should be able to pick them up in Toronto either this wednesday or next.

OK, I figured that in was somewhere along in the works. As you mentioned ight be cool to put a sightings count under posts count as people like to watchtheir numbers move up. Might give some who would not report some encouragement to post what they see.

And Titanium Magnus is due out next Wednesday??!!!

I think that graph is a good idea! Well it's good to see some Canadians on a TF forum. I usually see people from USA or UK.

Well thank you, I'm one of the surpisingly many Habs on the boards here at Seibertron.com. I'm on the staff no less!

Are we still doing Japanese figures? If so, I think maybe Revoltechs Prime and Megs should go up not to mention MP Megs and the Sports Label stuff coming out soon.

Hey, I'm a hoser too! :PEACE:
I don't think the Japanese stuff counts because, well, it's not like you're going to walk into a TRU or Wal-Mart and find the Takara Beast Wars figures sitting there. Though I guess it is possible for Comic Book Shops.

Ya, that's really the only reason I asked. I know Silversnail is in the Database for a comicbook shop. We also use to have SL, BT/A and MP stuff in there if I recall. Can't remember if we had Robot masters in there or not... :-?

I added all of the information for Montreal's greatest specialty toy and collectible store, Legends Action Figures, to the Sightings Stores list as a comic book shop, but whenever I choose comic book shops in Quebec, I get the "There are no stores in the database that match this query." error. Suxxor.

It may take awhile to be added to the Database. I remember I had to add a Wal-mart that was new and it took about three weeks to be added. All in due time. Hey if I could speed it up myself, I would.

When are the movie figures going to be put up in the sightings section? I know they are a few months off but I am sure I am not the only one who uses the sightings section to see what the new toylines are consisting of.

There have been reports of the Movie prequel Prime and Screamer hitting the shelves in isreal, so I would assume it will be fairly soon for the rest o' the planet.

I was just at Target and they have on display the Exclusive 4-pack Legends assortment with Megatron, Soundwave, Jetfire, and Optimus. I do not see them on the sightings page (maybe I missed it?) but they are indeed out now.

I didn't get them as I already have OP and none of the rest really appeal to me (though maybe Soundwave is better than his Cybertron counterpart...) Instead I decided to give George Lucas more of my money even though he has taken plenty (Target Exclusive Order 66 double figure sets are out as well. $10 for each of 6 sets in case anybody wants to know.)
