Link comes back with zero results. Searching through all the transformers yields no Masterpiece Prime.

Perhaps they already took down preorders.

One of the problems with the internet, it makes scalping far too easy. But I must admit MP Grimlock hung around my local, suburbia, TRU for months.

I wish you luck finding MP Optimus. Hopefully TRU will up their pre-order estimates and reopen it... or at the very least have enough stock to last more than a few hours upon release.

Always blows my mind when these big companies sell out of an item rapidly and they don't do anything to alleviate the problem next time around - like having enough stock to keep the item online for a day, rather than 3 or 4 hours :/

Well I missed out on this guy. I'm sure they are just going to be letting him out in slow drops kind of like they did with ThunderCracker. It took me A few weeks of dropping by the TRU website before I was able to lock in ThunderCracker this Friday.

The only reason I can assume companies do this, is that they don't want to make as much money as they could have if they had more to sell.

I get small companies, like the 3rd parties like Fansproject, or Perfect Effect (wait, am I allowed to say that in here?) only making a very limited amount of their products, because they maybe can't afford to keep doing new runs of them. Hasbro isn't exactly a small toy company, and TRU isn't really some little independent retailer. Pretty sure if someone in an office somewhere pressed a few keys on his computer, they could get more.
assembling a Neo-G1/TF:TM cast. Please PM if you have (or know of) the following at a reasonable price: Classics or Henkei Prowl, Astrotrain, Ramjet, Skywarp, Sunstreaker, Sideswipe, Blurr, Perceptor, GDO Wheelie and Springer, or 3rd Party Motobot Arcee, FP Springer, iGear Ratchet and Ironhide, City Commander (and/or Ultra Magnus), Starscream (deluxe) Coronation add-on, or Spike and Daniel in their Exo-Suits.

I will never be able to order it throught the normal means. TrU will never sell an english only toy to Québec. Even online! They could add a "Danger d'étouffement. Pour enfants de 3 ans et plus seulement." sticker on the box to fix that legal problem. But nooooooo, it's too hard.

I dont want to pay scalper prices on Ebay. Again.

So, anyone willing to middleman one for me?
You'll be a real bro. I would pay the total price plus shipping, of course.

I could also give a lot in trade.
