This is a PRIME example of how a company should not do business.

The 20% off is not valid for MP Prime, it says in the "exclusions" that it cannot be applied to preorders, which is what Prime is, so it's full price. And with a limit of 2, at full price, I wouldn't exactly say they're encouraging scalping. A limit of 2 is perfect in my opinion. Some people buy one to keep in package & one to open, some like to display an object in both modes and some are picking one up and one for another friend/collector who wasn't able to be online just at that right moment. For all those people, 1 is very frustrating so I really think 2 is the best way to limit scalping yet make as many fans/collectors happy as possible.

Not to start a fire, but that just seems greedy. "You should sell me two because I want two" sounds like "I deserve to have two of what is going to be a really hard-to-find item, and someone else doesn't deserve one." Just my two cents, that particular clause doesn't do much to strengthen your argument.

No worries, I know it comes off that way to some, and I'm not saying that I personally do it (I prefer playing with mine to show it in different modes haha), but even if it does come off as sounding a bit greedy, it's still a hundred times better then a scalper getting a hold of a bunch to resell, at least in my opinion.

Sadly TRU is well known for this when it comes to their website orders - on all accounts of those complaints. For one reason or another I followed their FB page last Christmas and every few posts there was someone complaining about being shafted at checkout. Either their cart was empty when they went to pay, they checked out perfectly fine only to have their purchase canceled within 24 hours or, in the cases of buy 1 get 1 (or 2) free, they got the item they had to pay for and lost those that were supposed to be free and the order was shipped before they could cancel it.

I understand when it happens on occasion, but the number of times it popped up on their FB page in a span of a month was more than a little revolting. Warded me away from ordering anything during the high season. This is actually the first time I've ordered anything from them online in general, so I'm praying my order is OK. I got the confirmation, but with all those complaints last year, I'm still a little weary.

LOL not much anyone can do..you're not the only one getting the "can't be found" error ... we just have to keep checking until it shows up

Didn't want to be an a$$hole, but everyone/collectors "collects" or likes their toys different. I personally don't think buying two of the same toy is greedy. I display my toys together, one in robot and one in vehicle/ beast modes. I've been doing this since 1994. To say that I'm greedy for the way I collect or display my toys is just "unprimely.". Just because we don't get what we want doesnt make everyone else who bought two of the same toy "scalpers. Just voicing my opinion.

By the way , I pre-ordered two mp Optimus prime when it first came up, and found 5 thundrcrackers at a nearby toysrus (only bought 2).

It feels like SDCC camping all over again. Thankfully, I have the next two days off and can waste the coming hours spamming the link.

I hear ya man ... I hope I didn't come off sounding like that reason is a bad a thing. I totally understand it, and am ok with that reason for wanting 2. We all have different ways of collecting/showcasing our stuff which is why I'm ok with a limit of 2 and not screaming scalper for it

Man out of sure luck I was able to preorder masterpiece Optimus prime, I just hope I get it in great condition being a MISB collector. (Fingers crossed) true story I haven't had the best experience from toysrus I bought leader class ironhide from the online site and everything was banged up. For those who got mp thundercracker did it get to you in good shape?

I'm really wanting to order this but all the links i've tried on the thread is not working! and i went to TRU website and plugged in the item number and still doesnt come up! Whats going on here? Can anyone send a good link to order MP Prime please
