Toyworld needs to put this project to the side already and finish the throttlebots first.

Well, Dinobots are more popular than Throttlebots or Headmasters. Plus there's that obscure movie that some people might have seen to back up sales of Dinobots. So I feel there's a good chance they'll finish the set this year.

That said, if they don't, I will never buy another Toyworld set again and say that they should stick to one-off releases.

Toyworld pulled a bait and switch by releasing grind rod first and making him G1 cartoon accurate in both modes. They gave no indication that they planned to make the other characters "neo". Aurora was a little off but nobody saw Trace coming. Totally not G1 cartoon accurate and they also ruined the uniform scale. But like most people who were already in the set 2 deep, I chose to buy Trace and pray the next 3 would somewhat resemble their G1 counterparts slightly. Even though it looks like they wont, suprisingly Throttler looks pretty awesome and I kind of see him as the combiner that never was but should have been. It makes alot more sense to turn the Throttlebots into a combiner than the Dinobots in my opinion. They really didnt need to make wideload bigger though since it is a 6 member team and not a scramble city combiner. Also we did see color prototypes of goldbug not long ago. Only problem was he wasnt gold and wasnt a bug. He a was yellow cooper. :BANG_HEAD:

so now toyworld is like "what delay, what do you mean? the throttlebots are right here, all done"! and now i feel much better about the dinobot set as well as getting the rest of the throttlebots

Good job toyworld for finally getting the job done. While im not happy about the departure from G1 aesthetics after fooling us with rollbar, the combiner mode gives us a fun new display option to enjoy instead. I enjoy generic bots if they match the aesthetic of my collection, and he does. All hail the mighty Throttler! :BOWDOWN:

Thanks for sharing these pics, NOS. However, they were first revealed at TFCon'14 during the slideshow. Nice to see these back in circulation after GCreations showed off their Grimlock pic today.

I think all 3Ps who have invested in a line of Dinobots should post new pictures of their version of Grimlock, then we can honor March 5 as "King Grimlock Day". :BOWDOWN:

Don't like how TW's Grimlock's Dino neck is so long and skinny. Also think the Dino head looks a bit under sized. With the Skinny neck and tiny head with the big beefy bulky dino body. Think the whole Dino mode looks mis proportioned

Prefer the aesthetics sculpting Proportions on GCreations Grimlock toy better.

I think he looks quite good. I've already committed to FP's Dinobots, but I doubt those who have gone for TW will be disappointed with that. My only criticism is that in Dino mode his lower legs look so beefy compared to his skinny knees, but that's just a little nitpick. Otherwise, he looks great and his 'bot form looks amazing. I wonder how he'll size up next to the other two in 'bot form and even against MP Grimlock.

Looking at the test shot pics of Grimlock next to the colored pics of Grimlock. It might appear that TW redesigned the Dino neck to make it longer. By giving the dino neck one extra column level. Also the screw on the top of the test shot dino neck that goes into the back part of the dino head. has now been covered up for the final colored version.

Think it looked better with the shorter dino neck. Don't know why TW would bother to resculpt the Dino neck to make it longer. Guessing for the combined form.
