Get those colors right and we might do business. I'm completely satisfied with the HeadRobots kit and Universe figure. This needs to wow me.

While I'm sure this will be great based on my experience with Hegemon I'm getting really tired of these third-party double dips on characters. We already have a perfectly good Hardhead thanks to Headrobots. If they want to make a Headmaster pick one that hasn't already been done or has an announced upcoming product. How abut Brainstorm, or one of the small Headmasters?

Im lovin it !!! Especially knowing that they probally wont stop at one. Chromedome, Brainstorm, and that grouchy Helicopter bot (forgot his name) hopefully. Hasbro couldnt get this right if they tried.

I'm going to agree. I'm a supporter of the 3rd parties, but it's getting to be like Hasbro releasing "Something different yet the same Bumblebee". There's just so much out there the 3rd parties can tackle, and seeing them go after something that's already out there in HR's add-on to the Universe figure... well, it's a bit of a let down to me. And from what we've seen already, HR is working on the other Headmasters and I'm more than happy to stick with that line. Maybe TW intends to make it a smaller scale to fit in better with the Classics line?

Anyways, the design looks nice and it looks like the chest could open for tech specs. Need more info to make any purchasing decision, but hopefully this is something that's way down the line.

I agree with this point my friend. I wish they would have done Chromedome!

I will probably still pick this up though. I have the show accurate 2nd version of HotHead on my Hardhead figure. This appears to be more toy accurate like the first version of Hothead.

I can't be looking at the same pictures as everyone else: this is one of the worst designs I've ever seen. A bunch of blocks joined together to form another H-tank. The canopy's boring, the cannon looks like it was taken from another toy, the legs look too slim and the colours on the head are completely wrong.

Just for the record, as awesome as HeadRobots' upgrade is, a repaint of Onslaught just doesn't cut it for me.

I agree that it's not perfect be I'm willing to wait until I see a prototype until I right it off. While I like what Headrobots does, I agree with you that it just doesn't cut it.

On the other point, Hardhead was always an H-tank. If he wasn't now, there'd be more bitching about it not being one than anything else. >:oP

I like it, but I'm not sure I'd replace my custom Hardhead with this.

However, if they are planning to do a line of Headmasters in Gee-Wunny style, I'd want this for consistency.

Yeah the thought occurred to me too, but then Hardhead's IDW incarnation and the figure HeadRobots' set upgrades isn't even a tank. H-tanks are just lazy designs.

Trusted them with Hegemon and this looks pretty decent too - I'll probably get one.
